Anyone Not Like The Extra Attention From Being In Good Shape?

I love the attention, but only in small doses, and from girls. I hate so much people staring at me, it's the most annoying feeling in the world. I goto class after an arm workout and my shirt fits snug and I have veins popping out and seeing a group of people stare at me is so annoying...maybe it's just because I wonder what theyre thinking? but yea I don't know, something I just figured out about myself. I do however, like when I'm with a girl and she thinks I'm just a scrawny guy but I take my shirt off and shes amazed...that im 100% fine with

this is very true........i love when guys at parties will make little comments like, last night i was out with three of my girlfriends and there were some frat guys at the party we went to and they like saw me as the gustappo of something, you touch the girls you die type of thing......it was pretty funny, and they're all watchin me from across the room and shit.

that is very true, girls love guys who have abs, but also dont realize just because a kid weighs 120 pounds who is 5'11 and is "ripped" dosnt mean he works out, he just is anorexic

yeah thats what i was thinking. i dont mind at all, people can stare all they want. i quite enjoy it, makes me know the hard work and all the diet is paying off. if i didnt want people looking at me then i would cover myself up. as it happens, if i have an excuse to show off my body, i will. if someone has a real nice car, they shouldnt be afraid to show it off in public, same with bodies

I don't always like it. People can be rude. Of course, the other thing is you're bound to get some attention from gays and that's pretty annoying if you're hetero.

Putting the "shoe on the other foot," when I see a woman who I'm really attracted to I don't sit and gawk so when that happens to me I'm thinking that's pretty rude. I think these days people feel entitled to be vouyeristic and to disrespect personal boundaries because that a big part of prime time television and people, on the average, are watching too much tv.

yeah i get this all the time...so annoying...and like the other guys said people askin you dumb questions....but i dont mind that much..if i did i wouldnt work out...

when i was in highschool i was often 'teased' and given the nick name chest because my chest is my most dominantly massive muscle....four years later i still do things differently because of all the sh!t i took when i was younger
i never take my shirt off in front of people, i dont wear tight shirts, i dont wear tank tops, and i never ever flex for anyone but myself in the mirror
i hate attention i get for looking the way i do, but im also only ~200 lbs....some day when i reach the 240 mark im pretty sure that everything will change.

Ironically the bigger I get the more self conscious I become. when I was 150lbs I had no problem wearing a beater in the gym. Now I work out in a sweat shirt and wear baggy t-shirts otherwise. that's just the way I feel most comfortable. I am only 200lbs as well though. Maybe 240lbs will be different

thats how i am bro...i think i would be a hell of a lot less self conscieous (sp?) if i was 200 lbs with 30% body fat rather than 10%, but that doesnt stop me from growing, and im glad im on the 10% end rather than 30%

i think that 'our' kind can be summed up into two categories:
1. guys that lift to get poon
2. and guys that lift for themselves

i personally am the latter of the two, which is why i dont like being looked at and getting attention. Dont get me wrong, im not saying that everyone that likes attention for their lifestyle ONLY does it for the attention, but i think that the guys that lift to get girls are much likelier to enjoy this.

funny cause im the same way...when i was 160lbs i didnt care who saw me with a shirt off...now at 250lbs i feel weird when i take my shirt off in front of people..i keep sayin oh when im so and so lbs i wont care...but it never happens...i think its that bigorexia thing...
