L-Glutamine, Creatine Monohydrate and Whey Question...

I quit smoking in December and today I joined a gym. I have over 20 recipes from this site and just came back from the grocery store with a totally overhauled fridge. here's my question...I will begin workouts tomorrow morning...I need to lose 15-20 lbs. before I start bulking up so my workouts will consist of 75% cardio and 25% low weights/high reps. Should I use the creatine, whey and L-Glutamine liquid now or should I wait for a few weeks to get my body used to working out again?

    Thanks for EVERYTHING...especially the motivation!!!

Bad idea creatine mono you are gonna hold a lot of water.
Glutamine is a waste of money

Whey protein is a very good choice, if you need to lose quick why do you try a low carb diet, then you can bulk back up.

I have bought some San Vault creatine its CCE and apparently you dont retain has much water and you actually feel harder get harder body.

I will give you guys some feedback when i do use it this summer.

I have some weight to lose myself.

imo, creatine may help with muscle retention during dieting down. Creatine will have no negative effect on dieting down. no reason no to

I'm fairly certain he's not. Glutamine is a total scam and waste of your money.

Not doubting you bro , but id like to see some info that confirms this. I can certainly notice a difference when I take glutamine, I have been taking if for quite some time now.

thats why he said 75% cardio and 25% weight lifting he is trying to lose weight while conditioning his muscles before he bulks back up..i see nothing wrong with this..and to the thread starter creatine ethyl ester and whey are great choices..its good to see that you are not turning to gear or any other drugs to reach your goals and you seem ready for hard work...best of luck to you

Many have take this supplement which is very expensive damn i payed 50$ can for 500g of this and did feel nothing.

Its effective to boost immune system and effective in HIV , Cancer patients.

Helps stop Diarria (sorry for spelling) and stomach upset but you have to take between 40-60g a day.

I only pay 25$CAN for 500g, so its not that big a deal for me. The one thing I notice most when Im not taking it though is the amount of sweets that I crave, its really weird, as soon as I start taking glutamine I stop craving sweets alltogether.

Don't take Leucine by itself. As taking a single Amino tends to lower the levels of others. Leucin has been shown to have the ability to stimulate protein sysnthesis by itself. Take BCAA'a pre and post workout. I use this method and I make sure that I'm getting 10g of Leucine in a serving.

Yeah, if you want to spike your Shake with extra leucine. What I do is slam a BCAA drink and wait about 10 min before taking down the whey. BCAA's will be readly almost instatly, whey still needs to be digested. Even though its quick, it still needs to be broken down.

I use BCAA's powder. Which is terrible tasting. I mix it with Crystal Light and its all good.
