HCG is recommended in 2 cases as far as i know:
1- on long cycles 12 weeks+
2-as a bridge in between connected 2 cycles.

There isnt a set time limit when HCG should be introduced. It will help prevent/reduce testicular inhibition/shutdown, what ever the cycle length. I advocated the use of HCG in Marcus's short/heavy cycles also.

HCG in particular is one of the very debated drugs, so far i've heard so many different opinions about it.
even the dose is very debated some ppl do agree on the dose u mentioned and some are just way different.
but most competitive BB's i know, use 5000 IU's every 4th day for 2 weeks after a lengthy cycle.
and if the cycle is more than 20 weeks, they use it around the week 12 for 2 weeks with a dose of 2500 IU's every 4th day.

I agree its a very debated compound. There are many different protocols of running it effectively.

I've seen that after 1500ius+ Leydig Cell desensitization begins to occur. So, I cant see 5000iu shots being productive. My source advocates 5000iu shots and it seems to work for him though...

Due to it containing Test Prop, which needs to be shot fairly frequently to attain stable blood plasma levels.

because it contains 50 mg Test prop. which should be injected ED but EOD is ok. so that would help keeping ur blood levels balanced.
also it will keep ur androgen levels stable. but since this is ur 1st cycle, EOD shots is going to be alot for you. basically 250 mg x 15 days (in 1 month) = 3750 mg (3.75 grams)
divide that by 4 (4 weeks)= 937 mg/week which is too much for a 1st cycle.
i recommend you to get in hold of some TEst E or Cyp. only.

1st it is not a compound
and i personally tried the 1000IUs and didn't really work, but the 5000 IU work so well for me. i lost nothing but water, and got my testicals back to regular size in 1 week.
