My next cycle that I am going to do I want to add lats because I will be injecting everyday. I want to get my pins. For those of you that do lats do you use a 1" or 1.5"?

bump c'mon bro's I know some of you do lat injects
1" is fine bro
I can't reach to inject my lats, pecs and delts get in the way. Even if I could, there are way too many veins in lats, IMO it's risky. I inject ED every 3-6 month cycle using the following rotation: R/L thigh, R/L glute, R/L delt, and R/L ventro-gluteal. That's 8 injection sites, which is plenty for an ED cycle.Originally Posted by stumpy29
My problem is that I will injecting ed but on Mon, Wed, and Fri I will be shooting 3 or 4 cc's.
Lats can be tricky, u have to be careful that u don't pin yourself too far from your reach.. couple of times i pinned the lat, only to find out the plunger was out of reach LMAO! Had to twist it toward me to get to it, which made it kinda of a messy injection.. and aspirating was imposible.
I do mostly lats but can't do them myself. My wife does them for me. I use 21 or 22g 1" for them. 95% of the time I don't even feel them and no soreness like I get in a delt shot.

i like lat shot's carnt do them myself though. i use a 1" 23 gauge. No soreness the next day

R/L ventro-gluteal ? Where exactly is that? I am planning on doing ED shots soon
same here, my last course was ED injections, i rotated R/L Glutes, R/L Lats and R/L Delts. next time i dont wanna do lats again, as i cant really reach safely, plus i hit something last time, which put me off. where is the ventro-gluteal? is it the lower area of the glutes?Originally Posted by trisdog

With the palm of your hand, locate the greater trochanter of the femur.
SSpread your index and middle fingers posteriorly from the anterior superior iliac spine to the furthest area possible. This is the correct injection site.
Remove your fingers and insert the needle at a 90-degree angle

hmmm sounds a little tricky, is it easier done than said? are there better pics of that area?
I don't know if this is the exact area, but it looks to be. I don't know if this will help, and please correct me if I'm wrong.
Edit: pics removed

guess you can't post that site .. you can PM it to me
Counldn't get the link in the post, but put some pictures in. Again, I'm not sure if this is the exact region.
i believe thats the regular glute area
Oh ok. Sorry about the mix up, and thanks for the info.
I don't know how much this will help, but go about half way down the page to the ventrogluteal section: http://myphlip.pearsoncmg.com/altpro...=6645&vid=1110
The actual muscle being refered to is the gluteus medius. I would personally say much easier injection sites are biceps and pecs if you want to add something into your rotation without guess work.
Ventro gluteal is easy and painless. We are basically talking about the meaty portion of your hip. BDTR turned me onto this injection site and I have used it ever since, without any problems.
does anyone have a better pic of this?
I will post a better pic for you later on. I will scan one into my computer for you either tonight or tomorrow.
Asperate after inserting the needle?I know it means barrie the needle then draw for blood. But if you get blood through out your shot?I just inject. never had a problem.
bump anyone got a good pic of this location?

"On the other hand, the ventrogluteal site is relatively free of major nerves and blood vessels, the muscle is large and well defined, and the landmarks are easy to locate. It is an excellent IM injection site, even in infants. Simply place the palm of your hand over the greater trochanter (hip joint), index finger over the anterior superior iliac tubercle, and middle finger along the posterior iliac crest. Inject perpendicular into the center of the V formed by the separated fingers.* It has been my experience that this site is less painful than the vastus lateralis."
ive never done lats but will do if i can find a girl . but i dont think ill ever do traps ? ouch veins
