Thread: What to take?

    What to take?

I am tring to acheive that beach body look, and thought about taking some winstol. Is it the best for cutting, or can I try something else. I know winny is hard on your liver. Also, will I have to take a pct after coming off to prevent gyno. I just got rid of gyno(surgery), and don't want it again.

I have read the newbie forum, I would just like to hear some of your advice. I am 27 y/o, about 205 lbs ,17%bf and have been on a reduced calorie diet for about 6 weeks. I have been doing cardio and working out 5-6 days a week.

OK, thats a good start. there is a diet and workout forum here. check them out and see if you can get some answers there. Not sure if you realize, but steroids (AAS) do not GIVE you anything except the ability to synsethize more protein (to make it simple) YOU still have to do 99% of the work. I.E.- Heavy lifting, cardio, and PROPER diet. can be done in 12 weeks if you really want it that bad without AAS. I was about your size when Igot serious and wanted to compete NATURAL. you can check out my pics in the members section or on my profile and see what can be done in 12 weeks of just diet and lifting. NO AAS at all.

    hope this helps

The fact that you had gyno already, would make me want to stay away from AAS as much as possible. But if you decide to do it anyway, make sure you have ALL the PCT in line and on hand BEFORE you do anything to make sure you don't want to risk getting it again!!!

I think you can achive your goals with proper deit winny at 17% bf you wont see a whole lot of results.

Try posting your deit in the deit forum I think that might help you out alot.

With 17% bodyfat the winny will not do the most it would compared to you being at a lower bf %.. why dont you tweak your diet a bit, implement a type of carido routine, and add intense training program.. after that consider the use of AAS..

And he's already doing Cardio and on a calorie-reduced diet

    -------------------------

Tommy... what need from you is your diet.. the amount of time you've been training consistently.

Your routine.. and prior steroid use if any.

Nope.. show me someone who's gotten gyno from Masteron

His cycle (providing he's eligible to begin cycling) should have a replacement dose of test... and a DHT-derivative.. plus an AI

I really don't have anything set in stone on my diet, I just eat about 1500-1750 calories a day. I eat healthy, things like wheat bagels for breakfast, turkey sandwich with lowfat mayo for lunch and chicken breast for dinner. I also have a few snacks in between meals like nuts or pickles. I am not trying to pack on the muscle, just trying to lose BF. Actually, it would not hurt to lose some muscle, because I have a fairly large frame as it is. I would just like to be fairly cut and get rid of this spare tire on my midsection. Sbman, If you got like that naturally, I would love to know how you done it. You are ripped.

    That's a bad approach.

Getting shredded is about being specific.

IF this is that case you're in the wrong forum alltogether.. because steroids are of no use to you for this purpose

Go check out the diet and workout forums.

It was tough!! As far as diet, that was 80% of it. I did a 12 week precontest diet. not sure if the diet forum here has anything on that and I would have to right a book to explain it all. basically 6 meals a day, tracking each and every calorie, tricks your body into not storing fat after about the 6th wk. BUT it has to be the proper foods in the proper porpotions. honestly the diet is the HARDEST part. Lifting was a joy!!

I looked at the diet forum and it tells me about how much protein , fat ,carbs, ect. to have a day. Is that what I need to go by. Also did you drink any protein shakes. What is some of the stuff you ate? Probally the same thing everyday.

YES Tommy, I tracked every calorie in a log book every single day. Keep in mind that 3% bodyfat is NOT a healthy state to remain in. It is just for competing. I would like to get down to 8-10% and maintain that. So I am again on my contest diet slightly altering it for my goals.

The contest diet was extremely strict. Just a handful of different foods.

    Egg whites
    oatmeal
    grapefruit
    plain chicken breasts....lots of them
    plain albacore tuna....lots of cans
    STEAK...my favorite
plain sweet potatoes, tons of them

I would prepare on Sunday for the entire week as much as possible (thank GOD for gladware containers) my fridge was FULL of them all portioned out and ready to heat and eat. Takes a lot of work and disipline to do it but once you get a routine down, it isn't bad.

YES, I did use some meal replacement drink, high quality only!!

YOU havae to figure out your calories and go from there. I get paid to do that for people and it takes a while. There are books you can look into. Just search for bodybuilding contest diets and maybe that will help.

I will try to answer any questions you have, but I can't do it all on here for you.

    Hope this helps

Thanks alot. I will do some more research, and come up with another diet plan and go from there. I think I will hold off on the winny, and try to go natural. Thanks again.

Good Choice. You can always do AAS, but once you do you can never be natural again.

    Glad to help
