Russian guys have such cycle with 2 stages.
1 stage is for bulkink (with such preparation like Testosterone or Anabol)
2 stage with purpose to keep your bulking result (they attach such preparation like winstrol or testosterone propionate). It is accepted as correct by Russia sportsman, who think that second stage can make kickbacking not so much

For example:
1-10 Testosterone enanthate
1-6 Anabol
7-12 Winstrol
7-12 Testosterone propionate

Is such scheme use in Europe or USA or they use only such cycles like:
1-8 Testosterone enanthate
1-10 Anabol or Trenbolone

*What you want is in fact keep a steady blood level when u change from longs esters to short esters, it will help to keep the gains better before the pct. You want to use short esters Test prop/winny while test enanthate has been stopped.

Thats what he is trying to say I think. Use short acting gear at the end of a cycle to give the the longer acting stuff time to clear the system. In witch case you could use Test Prop, winny, Mast, Tren ace, Primo ace.
