Thread: Your mindset versus the Pro's mindset; why over 99% of you will never become pros

Exclamation Your mindset versus the Pro's mindset; why over 99% of you will never become pros

First of all, don't believe a word I am about to say, instead, I urge you to see this for YOURSELF. After a long time of cruising all vartious types of forums, I have come to the ultimate conclusion that the the majority of these bros are blinded by a great lie, a falsified belief that will ultimately retard and halt them in their journey for a freaky body. I have been reading many of the forums for a long time now, and if there is one thing I notice, it is that the pro's despise all of these forums, and for a good reason they do. These forums are too negative for the positive promotion of a strong mindset to achieve what it takes to be the best. Do you know what it takes to achieve the body that these professionals have?
I am sure a lot of people here (Perhaps over 95%) are going to say truckloads of juice, genetics, dieting etc. The truth has never been further than that...you see this is the mistake a lot of you guys make when it comes to having the mindset of a pro. You emphasize steroids way too much over the power of the mind...and I have seen my fair share of "bros" lift weights. Yes they lift heavy, yes they scream when they life, yes they are strict on leading a life based on the development of their physique...but do you notice based on your own experience, that the majority of the "bros", these guys on the forums, and on the outside world, never make it beyond a certain point? That there is a "sticking" point, and no matter how much juice, growth hormones, drugs they stuff into their bodies, they just cannot make it to the next level...you've seen it all, guys on these boards are putting up questions about consuming over 1+ gram of test a week, stacked with all kinds of extremly powerful compounds. It is actually now normal for an "advanced" steroid user (foolishly after just several cycles, you are considered "advance") to take over 100mg+ of Anadrol a day, 1 gram of test a week, some EQ, some Winny, and even some HGH, IGF, and all kinds of compounds stacked into 1 giant cycle. The false mindset of the majority, and by majority I mean a rough estimation of at least 95%, most likely 98% to 100%, is what is going to get them stuck at the sticking point...saturating the receptors of the body with these compounds, steroids will no longer become effective, and the health detrimental effects will always outweigh the positive at this point. And what I mean by the false mindset of the majority, is that steroids will get you that freaky body you've dreamed of...this is the great lie...that is going to keep a lot of these bros stuck at a certain level and never beyond. Don't believe a damn word I say, SEE FOR YOURSELF. Go on the member's pictures section and browse through all of the pictures. See what I am talking about...and if you disagree with me, I respectfully urge you to go fishing for the pictures of the freakiest of the freakiest members here on steroid.com, and post it RIGHT HERE on this forum, and we will compare it to the pro's, to prove me wrong. And by freaky pictures I mean densely muscular, ripped, and huge, compared to that of the pros. The mind is the most important muscle, and the ability to withstand ENORMOUS physical and mental pain must be present in the pro's mindset to even "think" about winning. It is a standard of all pros to have this ability. Look at Greg Kovacs, after several heart attacks and a multitude of health problems, he is STILL GOING STRONG! And what do you guys do? Well according to the thread http://forums.steroid.com/showthread.php?t=184206
ALL OF YOU Critize him for that gut, or for having small looking legs, or just for being plain ol' ugly. Nobody recognizes the WILL OF IRON that Greg Kovacs possess, his ability to keep getting up and charging the bullets, withstanding immense pressure. You all just dont recongize the POWER OF HIS MIND, the MOST IMPORTANT MUSCLE, you only recongnize the physical consequences of his MIND AND WILL. You should admire Greg Kovacs like no other bodybuilder, for his MIND and WILL...he will not stop, no matter what, at all costs to have the body he wants, for bodybuilding and muscles and strength ARE HIS IDENTITY. Without this, he is dead, so he is just keeping himself alive, by pumping the force of life into him; MUSCLES, STRENGTH, AND POWER! I am sure that if any of you guys had a heart attack, you would stop doing steroids, and possibly even stop lifting for a while...this is the clear dinstinction that distances the line between you and the professionals...this is one of the many, many reasons why the majority of you guys will never become pros. I am sure that a lot will be offended by my post, partially based on self-ignorance. Most people dont want to believe this as the truth, but if you ever do want to be a pro, you got to understand that you will have to be EXTREMLY BRUTAL on yourself.......those of you who disagree with me, please explain to my why my reasoning is wrong, and explain what your perception of the "truth" is, for what it TAKES to be a PRO.

So let me get this straight to see if i understood that post correctly.

Your saying, that too many guys rely on steroids to achieve a pro's body...but you did not specifiy the differences from pro's and regulars besides the fact they dont give up on a dream.
Now answer me this, would any of the pro's today be ANYWHERE near where they are today if they had to be 100% natural?

he does make good points aobut the mind....the mind is the most important tool i believe but most people on this board dont lift to be a "pro" they lift to look good or get stronger and have a healthy lifestyle rather than sit on the couch and eat chips and drink pop all day

exactly. the difference between a juice head like me and a pro body builder is that the pro has to push himsef to such an extreme that hes seriously risking his health, running cycles year round, at doses above 2000 mgs a week. sure i could take it to that extreme, but i plan on making my money through an education, not on the size of my biceps. i strive at that for the chicks

Ahhha! This is the kind of answer I was seeking, not joking words of humor initiated by the majority of these guys (and one she-male?), but just pictures that solidfy my belief! I am aware that not everybody wants to be a professional bodybuilder, now that we have established that fact, of course with all of your validations, we must now move on to a wholly entirely new topic; are steroids for you? Are steroids for the average Joe gym rat, who just lifts to feel good and for the girls? I will leave that argument for you to contemplate. For those of you who know what I am talking about, those who just lift to transfer energy into something positive, akin to the development of your physique, do you really need to introduce extremly powerful anabolic compounds so you can "lift to feel good, and for the girls?" Just where is the pride in that? I have no right to judge your behavior, just as much as you have no right to judge my behavior. I ask honest answers here, the question to this grand finale: Should the average physically conscious John Doe introduce powerful drugs into his body, so he can feel good about himself and lift for the "girls"?
I must have misunderstood the intentions and motives of these bros, because after a while cruising on these forums, I took it that you guys admired the freaky physique of Arnold, Ronnie, Dorian etc, to the point that your lives revolved around the bodybuilding culture, where you do nothing but talk and post pictures of all kinds of bodybuilders, but yet, your motive for lifting is not to model after your idol, but yet, to lift for the "feeling" aspect of it? I guess im an idiot in that case!
And you want my pictures? You will get them soon...just soon...right around November to be exact, in which I shall qualify to the nationals and claim glory...

you're right tren, but sometimes its not even that severe. There are guys in the pro ranks who go the xtra yard...then there are those guys that get their pro card and decide its not worth it.They change there priority and do something else.

this argument will go on forever because people do certain things for different reasons...u juice and workout to maybe eventually become pro...some people think its weird/egotistical that u have to be the biggest guy on stage...some people think its stupid for juicin to look good for girls...some people think its stupid just to get big but not compete...who cares why u do it...as long as u enjoy what ur doin and ur not harming others who gives a ****...its a hobby to most of us..lots of people play sports knowing they will never go pro...but they still play to have fun and enjoy it...

And I ask for SwoleCat to answer me...as a once great true bodybuilder, evidenced by his pictures of a great physique, for his regards in this matter. Swolecat, after being on these forums for so long, you must understand what I am talking about, because you have a lot more experience that I do, and probably than most of these bros ever will have. Do you notice how everybody drools over (of course in the form of words) pictures of these freaky physique, but suddenly, on a dead suddenly, they have no intention to become what they dream of, for they know how ruthless and hard it is to become what they inspired to be all along? Swole, you have probably been through this ruthless brutal journey that I am talking about, in your pursuit for a fantastic body...the pain intensifies, the pressure for a bigger and better body increases dramatically, to the point where you are risking death and major health problems down the road. Like Arnold, you knew when to draw the cards, and call it "game" before it was too late. You are now in the biz of making money and success, and fame, using that principle of bodybuilding on your quest for money and power. This is what I am assuming....I am wrong perhaps? You are still planning on competing in the future?
I seek so many answers, I myself am lost.
