Do you notice how everybody drools over (of course in the form of words) pictures of these freaky physique, but suddenly, on a dead suddenly, they have no intention to become what they dream of, for they know how ruthless and hard it is to become what they inspired to be all along? Swole, you have probably been through this ruthless brutal journey that I am talking about, in your pursuit for a fantastic body...the pain intensifies, the pressure for a bigger and better body increases dramatically, to the point where you are risking death and major health problems down the road. Like Arnold, you knew when to draw the cards, and call it "game" before it was too late. You are now in the biz of making money and success, and fame, using that principle of bodybuilding on your quest for money and power. This is what I am assuming....I am wrong perhaps? You are still planning on competing in the future?

ok members on here like to look at pro's physique...but why would admiring someones physique and not wantin to become pro make them weak...i wouldnt think of competing because i plan on being a millionaire by latest 30...bodybuiling wont take me there...

I am aware that not everybody wants to be a professional bodybuilder, now that we have established that fact, of course with all of your validations, we must now move on to a wholly entirely new topic; are steroids for you? Are steroids for the average Joe gym rat, who just lifts to feel good and for the girls? I will leave that argument for you to contemplate. For those of you who know what I am talking about, those who just lift to transfer energy into something positive, akin to the development of your physique, do you really need to introduce extremly powerful anabolic compounds so you can "lift to feel good, and for the girls?" Just where is the pride in that? I have no right to judge your behavior, just as much as you have no right to judge my behavior. I ask honest answers here, the question to this grand finale: Should the average physically conscious John Doe introduce powerful drugs into his body, so he can feel good about himself and lift for the "girls"?
I must have misunderstood the intentions and motives of these bros, because after a while cruising on these forums, I took it that you guys admired the freaky physique of Arnold, Ronnie, Dorian etc, to the point that your lives revolved around the bodybuilding culture, where you do nothing but talk and post pictures of all kinds of bodybuilders, but yet, your motive for lifting is not to model after your idol, but yet, to lift for the "feeling" aspect of it? I guess im an idiot in that case!
And you want my pictures? You will get them soon...just soon...right around November to be exact, in which I shall qualify to the nationals and claim glory...

Not another damn newb who is claiming to know it all. Great.

This guy sounds like some strange body builder stalker. I'm guessing this guy was home alone one night in a pink speedo all oiled up when he viewed a negative post about Greg Kovacs and it pushed him over the edge.

    here's what i think:
bodybuilding is like auto racing. millions of fans flock to see these men and women risk their lives for fortune and/or fame and put posters and pictures up of their favorite teams, but most of the crowd drives normal street legal cars and never want to be a race car driver but they ADMIRE the dedication and the work it entails. this is the same in bodybuilding.
this is the same with all professional sports.

the guy tries to claim that it's all about your mindset and has nothing to do with genetics, but your mindset is partially determined BY your genetics. also, i don't care what someone says, genetics IS a large determining factor as to what your limits will be.

when i first started lifting, i gained about 45lbs in under 4 months. that was all natural as well, and many would say not physically possible. personally, i don't know how i did it myself, but i know many of my friends started doing the same exact things i was to get growing, and they fell way short of what i accomplished. having seen my results, their mindset should've been that by doing the same stuff i was doing, they would get the same kind of gains. obviously, mindset alone doesn't cut it. there's more that you're missing due to your presumptuous closed-minded assumptions.

the pros have determination, but they're also walking pharmacies. anyone who thinks otherwise needs to wake the f*ck up and smell the test. i give them credit for the bodies they've built, but the consequences of it aren't worth it to me. they're most likely tearing years off their life with the cycles they're doing. in moderation and with proper health maintenance, gear can actually be beneficial to your body. however, in the doses pro's do, it goes way beyond the boundaries of "safe" and far into the "permanent health consequences" area.

do i think mindset is a vital part of the boundaries we create for ourselves? absolutely. do i believe it is what it's all about? not even close.

another thing that has apparently been failed to be taken into account with that ridiculous post is in regards to all the problems on the boards in here and the negative attitudes. now, if everything is going good for people and they have no problems, people don't have much of a need to ask for help, do they? it's when you have problems or don't understand something that will cause you to post more in these forums. it's not negative attitudes, it's a striving to understand, learn, and in doing so, progress. you've obviously overlooked the intentions of the members of this site. guess you were flying too high over us to notice, eh?

anyway, enough about all that, lets see some pics guy. no holding off till november, cause with your attitude, i'm sure you'll be banned well before then. no excuses, lets see it. if you're off-season, that's fine, but you gotta at least give something to back up you have any place whatsoever to make these ridiculous claims. until then, you'll just continue to be a joke who made a lame attempt at flaming an entire board.

Pretty f--king ignorant to become a member and post something like that. Obviously doesn't have anyone else to release his tension with. It's a shame, I feel sorry for close minded people such as this.

That idiot HAS to know all of us aren't in it to be pros. Most are just enjoying living healthy lifestyles.

What kind of point is proven by trying to downplay all of us?
