Yeah, he does cry all the time. Bowen also couldn't hit a 3 to save his life last night, and Dallas got complacent and it almost bit them in the ass.

I just moved to austin texas from seattle and i see spurs fans everywhere. It's like the damn twilight zone here, and now the longhorns beat the trojans in the big game. Its hard to shake these dudes! I was buying some cold ones yesterday and a lady asked me if i was getting ready for the spurs game, and i said yeah i can't wait for the dallas game. LOL! She didn't like that too much

Spurs and Mavs was a good game, but for those who feel the refs were hard on the Spurs well in the final minutes of regulation one of the commentators on TNT said if the Mavs lose this one, the club and fans will have to wonder about the officiating. At that time he said the Spurs had like 11 fouls for the whole game, while the Mavs had like 27!! Big disparity and I think it really needs to be looked into if the NBA is to retain any credibility.

On another note I'm glad the Spurs lost, despite the help of the refs. Duncan is a boring cry baby. Ginobli is a spastic crybaby that takes cheap shots at other players, Parker is over rated and Horry is a whore. I am a Suns fan, so last nite was good. I don't know who will win the conf. finals, but I have a feeling it will be the Mavs. Either way, Miami nor Detroit can run and shoot with either team. Shaq will have a heart attack trying Peace out!!

Its because (Austin) we're a college town... We have to latch on to some pro teams... San Antonio is closer than Dallas to us. SO unless your from DAllas or Houston you'rE probably a Spurs fan. There will never be any proffessional major league team in Austin though, This is Longhorn central...
I'm actually just getting into basketball too... But BAsketball isn't big here... you'll find out real soon this is football country... BAsketball is not as big here or at least for the majority not big... people dont watch highschool basket ball here its all about football then baseball and then basketball...

I hope the Mavs do well but I'm new to B-ball. I can't say I like Cuban teh Mav's owner but you can't choose your owner either.

I watched the Suns last year and found myself rooting for them becasue of their series comeback...
Two questions... Has Dallas ever had to come back from behind? If Miami and the Mavs go at it, who comes close to playing against Shaq? I think Dallas and Miami is a bad match up from my newbie prospective. But what do I know...

i think the mavs have it locked up. they will take out phoenix and it doesnt matter who comes outof the east, either team will loose to them, dirk is unguardable, he is so good it is scary and it is hard to believe he is 7foot and shoots better than most guards in the league

the heat have to much talent. i think that creates a problem in team chemistry. remeber the year the lakers had payton and malone with shaq and kobe? they had a so so season and got bumped from the playoffs before the finals. miami reminds me of that team, i think the same thing will happen.also they are calling shaq for alot of offensive fouls for throwing his elbows around. that takes him out of his game and makes him less dominate, a few years back, they let him do whatever he wanted, now with the stricter rules, he doesnt get away with it as often. this makes miami alot more vulnerable

The mavs clearly outplayed the spurs last night, and for the sake of an interesting game the refs brought the spurs back into it. I'm glad that the mavs wern't robbed by the refs, seeing as how they had to play overtime with three guys fouled out. It's not necesarily the refs that did it but the NBA, they didn't want a blowout. Thats why the NBA kind of sucks, but I still have to watch.

I wouldnt worry.. heat have it on lock.. dirk is good but hes not going to beat the heat alone.. yes dallas has a good team other then dirk but the heat CAN and WILL defintely keep up the mavericks (if they beat phoenix)

I am a huge spurs fan, and last night was a tough loss. But I have to hand it too the Mavs because the spurs played as well as they could and the Mavs still won. Avery Johnson is doing a great job with that team, and I think they will win it all this year. I also agree that Duncan cry's too much about foul calls, but he should get all the calls, the great ones always do. And he is the great PF of all time.

Duncan is great but that is why he should not complain. How many free throws did he shoot last night, and he still complained when he did not get the few calls that went against him. Duncan is so overpowering that he shouldn't bitch when it goes against him.
