    that guy is Benedikt Magnusson
    he held the deadlift record of 970lbs until Andy Bolton broke it recently at the Arnold Classic with 971 lbs

    Some of the weights shifted are incredible - a few of the guys in the third link look tiny compared to the weight they shift.
