Any RPG(pc role playing game) junkie around?

I havent played any computer games for ages, they are all shit nowdays!!, but stumbled over morrowind very cheaply and decided to buy it.

Now Im hooked. Best RPG I have played since baldurs gate and might and magic 6.

Anyone else spent time on this gem?

Dude, HELL YES! Snag Oblivion (if you liked Morrowind, but you're computer will need to be jacked waaaaay up to get the most outta the killer graphics), umm, play World of Warcraft quite a bit and now waiting for the expansion in October i think...what else, well, most of what's coming out soon is MMORPG stuff, but they look pretty good...

Seems they don't make much other than that nowadays...but yeah, old school stuff like Might and Magic, Wizardry, and the Baldur's Gate series was kick ass too...any D&D stuff is cool...hey, the other day, i downloaded Ultima IV....remember that shit? could only stand it for a bit, but brought back many memories...

actually, if you have a ps2, they still drop out some cool Final Fantasy games, and similar playing titles like Dragons Quest and such...turn-based, kinda repetitive, but still, reminds me of the old days when that's all there was...

oh damn, you hit a hot button, now my secret's out

My computer is kind of crap so Oblivion seems out of the picture. But Im gonna try and se if I can run it at low graphic settings when Im done with morrowind. Hope I can

Never been into MMORPG just seems to time consuming? I prefer strategy when it comes to multiplayer. Ahh the sweet days of starcraft. That was a blast.

Morrowind and Oblivion are two of the best RPGs ever created. I wish their visual style was a little better, though (like the Final Fantasy series). The models of the people are kinda strange looking, but it works.

Dawn of War, cool RTS game, and expansion...

Yeah, i ran Oblivion at lower settings (i only have a GeForce 6200, but you can get a 6800 now for under $200us i think, maybe less)...still a kick ass game though...

what about first person shooters? Doom3, F.E.A.R. some cool ones...there's others coming out soon that look phenomenal...

FF is over-hyped IMHO. I liked Grandia and Skies of Arkadia(sp) on DC. Haven't played a decent RPG since.

I played PS on DC/xbox and hated it. Alien vs Predator is a cool RTS game on xbox tho.

Im not a big fan of shooters. But I LOVE Max Payne. Pure entertainment.

Have you tried Might and Magic 6 and 7(stay away from 8 and 9 they suck)?? They are old so the graphics are horrible but they are the best first person RPG I have ever played. So far morrowind is almost as good as M&M 7 but not quite.

The best RPG's ever made though have to be Fallout 2 and Baldurs Gate 2. Damn the hours I have spent on those 2 games. Especialy Fallout. The fallout world just sucks me right in.

Its gonna be interesting to se how Bethesda handle making fallout 3. They sure did a tremendous job with morrowind. But Im not sure they can handle the depth of conversation of the fallout games and the mature content.

Looking forward to neverwinter nights 2 aswell. Hope they make the single player experience alot better than the first neverwinter nights. After Baldurs gate I was expecting something tremendous and neverwinter nights just didnt cut it.

Ohh yeah add planescape torment to the list of best RPG's ever. What a perfect game that was. In some ways even superior to baldurs gate 2.

Fallout 3??? OMFG...dude, that game was awesome, i think Bethesda will just fine though...when's the release date on that?

and yeah, the only problem with NWN was how frikkin' short it was, the expansions were obviously even shorter...but i liked the game play better, with the 3D and such...

MnM 6 and 7 are AWESOME! The graphics aren't really that bad, especially for the time they were created in.

Best game for PC was Diablo 2, and why they don't make a very very similar game, I dunno. World of Warcraft is all that Blizzard really cares about now, but I could never get into it for some reason, LONG LIVE DIABLO!

Diablo 2 was fun to spend some time on but it never caught my attention. I like RPG's with a rich and deep story.

Its just in pre production or something like that. The only thing Bethesda have said is that they are going to do it there way. But I have to say if they make fallout 3 from a first person perspective Im going to be VERY sceptical and my god if they even think about making it real time instead of the action point system. Fallout without action points are like burgers without buns.

what server(s)? i'm on Khazgoroth, only played one char to 60, Orc Warrior, Knights of Dark Reknown...haven't played in awhile though, just waiting for expansion...the battles are very tiring, and down right retarted if you ask me...and the end game was getting old...i don't like team play all that much

Planescape Torment has one of the best storylines EVER, but Oblivion comes close. I would say it is second only to Planescape.
