Question 1: yes, yams have macros so make sure they fit in with your diet.
Question 2: yes, it is a good form of fat (you can use olive oil if you prefer) and can find it in the grocery store in the dairy section (at safeway anyways).
Question 3: I have no idea, haven't used it.

flax is cheap at walmart get the seeds milled, less mess, plus u get fiber.
is the carb stuff just a bunch of sugar? your much better with oatmeal maybe metmucli for more fiber and whole wheat, veggies.
ok so i guess i came up with sth now.. .
8:00am ill be having 4 white eggs, 1/2 cup oatmeal, some olive oil as (EFA)
11:00am lean protien (tuna, viggies)
2:00pm (2 chiken breast, and viggies or i think maybe the yams)
workout
PWO protien shake(55g), and Maltodextrin (carbs)
45 min after PWO- chiken breast, with 1/2 brown rice.
or steak with some olive oil.
7:00pm protien shake.

you weigh 250 you need alot of food. your calories are too low still. olive oil isnt an efa flax and fish are efa's your fat is too low especially. You should get your bf tested it would make this easier plus how tall are you. are you really chubby or muscular with some chub?
throw up a pic. dont end off your day with a protein shake. one a day after working out is all u need.
am 180cm tall... am not fat... i have a good amount of musclar mass but i also have fat...
