As far as Rap groups that really seem to have their own style and that I like,
Naughty By Nature also comes to mind.

There is really no such thing as "the best rapper alive".....they all have different styles and it's just a matter of opinion. I agree with USfighter as well...Jadakiss is a master lyricist. To many good ones to really comment on.

jadakiss is a beast has been since back in the day..ive been up on game for years before the whole g unit thing...i was always a fan of fab and there are a million underground rappers or mixtape rappers that are sick that just dont get credit or recognition good to see everyone has a taste for a variety in music

nas is too inconsistant. i will chose eminem because i think hes the most talented out there lyrics wise. he and jayz are just a couple of a handful of rappers that i can enjoy every song on their cds that come out.
