lately ive noticed i can only get the slutty girls, or ones that i am only SLIGHTLY attracted too. i want to find a nice one, but none of them ever seem interested lol. mind you, im not the best when it comes to approaching women, and its been getting to me these last few days. one woman i was dating afew months back told me that if she had seen me in a club before she got to know me, she would assume i was so inlove with myself and obsessed, that she wouldnt have approached me anyway. same goes for alot of women im sure

The reason is it makes girls self consience like crazy, they see you looking like less than 1% of america, and they think that unless they're perfect(like who is!!) they wont be good enough. It's also very intimidating to many of them and they get preconcieved notions about what a bodybuilder acts like or who he really is. I think in this day and age, if you wanna pull alot of women and your a bodybuilder you need to be looking at the ones in their 30's and 40's, they love it!!!

You shouldn't treat an overweight girl any differently, which I wouldn't, but at the same time I can see his point. When a guy obviously cares as much about his health and overall appearance as a bodybuilder does, what makes a overweight girl think that he would be interested in someone that doesn't seem to care about their health and appearance at all.
I've had that happen to me a few times, there would be a group of girls and the attractive ones would hook up with my skinny model type buddies and then the obligatory fat chick in the group would come after me. There's no way in hell I would be interested in a chick 2-3 inches taller then me(which they always seem to be) and around the same weight as me(250) or more. I mean I would be nice and personable, but there's no way I would give them any idea that i'm interested.

When i'm in full bulking and bloated on anadrol is when I get the worst reaction. So i guess basically when your neck is wider then your head is too big for most girls. That's when I've recieved some of my best compliments(originally intended as insults however) such as being "disgustingly huge".

The big muscles, ripped abs, and nice overall muscular look definately help, but its definately more the fact that you are on stage and everybody is gawking at you... basically, you are in the spotlight. And, you also have photoshots, "appearances", shows, etc... in a way you are a celebrity.
Basically, you have higher social status than her becauses you are "out there in the social spotlight" and if you study male/female attraction, women are really attracted to men with higher social status. Its also attractive because girls will see that you need a woman at your side along your journey.

How is it at the amatuer, intermediate, and pro level? What is it like? Do they just throw themselves at you or do they just obviously show interest?

either the pros' muscles are so enormous that it dwarfs their packages OR their packages are tiny and that's the whole reason they started bodybuilding in the first place I have a good friend who fights all the time, a real "tough guy" and one day we were having a conversation about something - i think i was telling a girl that i would hurt her (meaning from my size down there) and he chimed in with a straight face and said "my penis is small" - maybe it was the alcohol talking but he was completely serious.... now i forgot the whole point of my post sorry it's like 2am and i'm tired

I have to disagree with a lot of you. Like I said, Markus Reinhardt is "good big"... if you are big, you better have abs... its the deal sealer for women. If you are Ronnie Coleman huge, thats just unappealing.

Stan McQuay for example... look at his Myspace profile... he has tons of hot 10s on his account. It's incredible. I think if you are big, cut, and have your life together, you are going to get laid like a rock star. Women are going to look at you and know you have many choices, so instantly you are a challege and have higher social value than them. Also, you have a career going and you are motivated. Status has an impact but there's something even more basic going on than this. Physical attraction is deep roots in our biology - our nature. Physical attraction is heavily based on symmetry (e.g., a highly symmetrical face and/or body). If you're a bodybuilder with great body symmetry but with an assymmetrical face, woman are not going to throw themselves at you.

Another thing relates to size. All things being equal, the lean thin guy who has discernable abs and 15" arms and with a vein in it will probably have broader appeal than the guy with 20" arms juiced to the gills. Don't confuse what guys think woman want with what woman want.

i think when most women say they dont like the bodybuilder type it's because they're picturing the guys on stage at 4% or w/e. because tht does look freakish, but the rest of the year bodybuilders dont look like tht so i think they would get a decent amount of action if they tried.

as for the top pros like ronnie and jay, i dont know how many women would go for thm, off season over 300lbs or w/e, tht may b too much. but bodybuilders are more thn just ronnie and jay, there's also all the amateurs who are much smaller, and thn the guys who compete naturally who arent as big (but they're still bodybuilders). and i bet they're able to get a lot of girls as long as their not complete morons and can carry on a conversation. i doubt the minor celeb status has much to do w/ it, cause tht is pretty low profile.

It's true what the other bros said, confidence is No.1 when it comes to getting girlies, but having said that getting in good shape is a plus (However confident Jabba the Hut was he would never be a hit with the ladies) and should also lead to increased confidence so it will help in that way.
