To be honest it sounds like someone is ****ing with you.

If LE was interested in you they wouldn't announce it. They'd just show up at your door with cuffs ready.

i was freaking out at first,....but the more i read it the more it seems like fcking BS, like someone trying to scare me.. here is the email i got:

"a friend of mine told me about your sale on xxxx.com and xxxxxx.com. Since i am myself a steroid user i thought to contact you first, before reporting your business.

I am a police officer, and since you are involved in criminal acitivity its of course my duty to report you to the department for online crime, and also the authorities near your home, to start investigation.

Your funny disclaimer, will most likely not protect you from prosecution. For your info: You are selling actively a class III drugs. An individual who sells steroids, or possesses with intent to sell, is punishable by up to five years in prison (with at least two additional years of supervised release) and/or a $250,000 fine. An individual who commits such a violation after a prior conviction for a drug offense faces up to ten years imprisonment (with at least four additional years of special parole) and/or increased fines.

If you read the website owners disclaimers, you will see that they will disclose the identity and any relevant data to authorities. This is exactly what will happen.

They will get all the info from them, question and pressure your former buyers, pose as new buyers. They will also get the login data of yours including the ip adress and mac-adress, that will lead to a certain telephone number and computer. Also by tracking the payments they will reach you finally. Believe me, they will track you down. I was once visiting one online crime department so i know what you can expect.

Thought i'd let you know this before i report it. After all, what did you expect, by selling drugs in broad daylight?

    bye
    DM"

Yeah, Its likely a joke, but I WOULD NOT him back. The return address is likely "spoofed" & at worst might be to someone real in the PD. In most email client software, you can put ANY return address you want to "mis-lead or trick" the recipient.

Turn on View Headers and see which IP address it originated from... Then punch it into arin.net and see where the son of a bitch lives... It's probably some nigerian who's Nigeria 419 scam stopped working.

A cop who was trying to bust you would not come out and say he is a steroid user as well. You have that e-mail to prove that he is using as well and the IP on that e-mail can be traced as well, so he'll be under investigation as well. Someone's full of shit.

I heard of scams like this. The guy next will ask for money or more likely free gear to not report you.
