    Yes they are regrouping. The last great military offensive against them was what? Operation Anaconda?

    Bro, they are not regrouping... they were never scared away... the US / NATO / coalition / whatever only controlled a few major towns... and cleared the taliban there... the rest of the country has remained "taliban land".

    Problem is that the mainstream US media sort of didn't mention that... too busy in Irak I guess... and having Omasa roaming free surely doesn't help things...

    True. Only Kabul and few other places are under the USA/NATO control. The rest is ruled by Taliban.

    Absolutely correct, besides Kabul the rest was and still is run by warloards. Common misconception that the wrath of Taliban is gone it is just diminished and they are laying low waiting for the opportune moment
