not really. we had our chances in game 5, cant used missed oportunities as an excuse because good teams find a way and in this series both teams could have swept the other team if they capitalized on ALL their opportunities. Cards cant out hit the tigers and cant out pitch the tigers. mets can out hit them, cant out pitch them. advantage.....mets.

the mets havent pitched all that well and havent hit all that well and the series is still tied at 3. what does that say about the cards? the cards cant out hit the tigers because you have pujols and spezio and that about wraps it up. the cards havent outhit anyone this year, why would they start out hitting people now?

yes good pitching beats good hitting. but you cant compare the A's and Mets and say that they are at all on the same level offensively. im not saying they will beat the tigers if they make it, but they will definitly have a better shot then the cards. remember when this same lineup was embarrased by the sox in a 4 game sweep in the WS? Yadier molina has probably saved sooo many runs in this series.....cant steal on that effing guy, the mets dont even try!

It's not the same lineup!
We have a new right fielder,left fielder and second basemen,mulder is also hurt!
I am not trying to be rude but apparenty you don't know much about the cardinals..We have out hit many teams this year because our pitching has been horrible.

st louis was 14th in MLB is runs scored this year. 10th is runs allowed. they got in because their division is brutal.

no you dont, but ya got the same core of Edmonds, Pujols, Rolen. Only this year Rolen and Edmonds seemed to have aged like 5 years lol. The supporting cast is different but functionally i dont think there were many noticable upgrades. i mean do you think eckstein and belliard are that big of difference to womack and renteria? or is taguchi and encarnacion better then ray lankford and reggie sanders? i dont know its a coin flip in my eyes.
