There is plenty of demand for children in heterosexual couples as well, hence why I don't know....Originally Posted by DSM4Life
Or two fighting/separated/divorced parents constantly at war and using the kids as pawns in their battles...Originally Posted by DSM4Life

Are all gay couples who want to adpot are any better? I fail to see why gay marriages would be any better off statistically that hetero marriages.Originally Posted by Red Ketchup
Also, not having a female influence in the life of a heterosexual child could have weird effects into adulthood.
I honestly cannot answer that question... gay marriage is so new here that I have not found any reliable statistics on gay mariages and divorces. I assume in the long run they should be at par with hetero weddings... but then again after having fought so hard for the right to marriage, I hope they will take their vows more seriously than the majority of hetero couple.Originally Posted by Phreak101
I'm afraid that argument is practically moot... considering most of the millions of kids living with only 1 parent (mostly female, but some male) end up just fine in the long run. I don't see same sex couples being any worse than single parent families. Also, not having a female influence in the life of a heterosexual child could have weird effects into adulthood.
