Hello, n00b here, got some Q's

hey, whats up, im new here. im definatley new to steroids, and im fairly new to lifting alltogether. My name's Ryan, im 22, im 6'4 and 294 lbs. I started lifting in highschool, but the program was pretty sad. i didnt get much gain at all, but it sparked my interest at least. I then started lifting with a friend shortyly after, but it only lasted 2-3 months. and now, 4 or so years later, i started lifting again and dieting too. unfortunatly since im a full time student, i cant really devote a ton of time to lifting. ive been going to the gym 3-4 times a week for 1-1 1/2 hours at a time. ive def seen some gains since i started a few months ago, but i wanted more. so i did some research and decided to give steroids a try. i purchased some Anabol from a website of a company based in eastern europe. i would just like to make sure i got the right stuff, first of all. they are tiny little pentagon shaped pink pills with some logo on them. the logo is too small for me to make out though. they came in a plastic bag that was put into a black CD case, then wrapped in tin foil...seemed kinda shady, but steroids are illegal in my country so maybe that why they did it that way. anyways, the site i got them from is **edited by Narkissos**. is this a credible site? also, what do you think about Anabol? im looking for large strength and mass gains that will at least last somewhat when the steroid is discontinued. well i look forward to your input. TIA

gotta wait 45 days and have at least 100 posts so you can ask a mod/vet

If you've only been lifting for a few months naturally, you have no business using steroids yet. Train hard naturally for a few years, get your bf% down, and read, read, read. Only then would I suggest aas if you still want more.

At 22 and your size,I would hit the
diet forum and get that in check...IMO

    You just started lifting again,there's
no way your ready for gear. You need
to take advantage of what you got
while you have it..natty test levels!
    Be commited,and train for 4-5 yrs b4
    any cycle,once again..IMO

Read the rules too...sticky thread up top.

First off Ryan.. welcome to the site.

Secondly, I edited your post because it infringes on one of the site's rules: source posting/discussion.

We all want more. However, you need to put in the base training.. you also need to find what works: learn to grow minus the ergogenics. Or you'll be wasting your time and money while 'on'.

Thus far, by your own admission, you have not been consistent. My advice'd be.. put in your time in the gym. Learn to eat and train effectively to gain..even with your time constraints. A better investment would've been in a dietician's consultation.. or a trainer.

This isn't an attempt to preach to you or sound self-righteous either...as I too am a full-time student ...with a job. I'm sure they're other full time students here who'd echo the sentiment: learn to train/eat and you'll be able to make gains regardless of your schedule.

Right now i'm only getting in 2-4 workouts per week... You're getting in 3-4. Get your split right, and 3-4 will be all you need.

Research? And still decided on anabol?

When you get the pre-requisite posts you'll be able to PM a Moderator or vet to query the legitimacy of the site you posted. In the mean time.. check out the diet and workout forums.

If that's your goal... anabol alone won't give you that.

    Stick around.

Read the steroid profile forum for info on steroids and general administration.

Check out the educational forum for info on stacking etc.

The pct forum will give you info on post-cycle therapy... a phase necessary for re-starting your natural testosterone production post-cycle (yes steroids shut you down).

It's a big step, not to be taken lightly... and you're a long way from being ready in my opinion.

    No offense intended of course.

Stick around and the guys will assist you in reaching your goals

    Good luck

ok well thank you. but keep in mind, i pretty much dont know anything about this stuff, so i didnt even know any better. and just for the record, i wasnt trying to "jump" into steroids, im just taking a little to see how it affects performance and gains. im significantly under the recommended dose (like ~60%), because i dont want to go pouring a ton of this stuff into my system without knowing what it does first. also, i figured 3-4 times a week at the gym was just average to keep in shape based on what i can see at my gym. but if it will sufice, then im content. i cant afford a trainer, cause im a broke ass college student (physics stundent for the record...thats where all my time goes, ha ha).

i would like to lose weight, but im not really into the whole "cut" thing. im a big guy, and i dont think id look right without tome fat on me. basically my only fat problem is my midsection. i really dont have too much fat anywhere else on my body. im naturally a large/heavy guy. i have big bones, huge hands and feet, so actually alot of the 294 lbs isnt fat. a few years ago i lost 100 lbs. from doing extacy ( i know i know, thats over with a long time ago), i got down to 215 lbs, and i was too skinny. i feel pretty good around like 240ish give or take depending on the amount of muscle i have.

and whats your guys take on creatine nitrate and protein shakes? i been using Twinlab creatine nitrate prior to workouts (gives me alot of energy and endurrance) and GNC mega whey protein shake after workout.

and another thing...what do you say about HGH? is that another thing to wait and see about using? and if its something i can use, will it significantly affect my bone growth? cause theres no way i want to be any taller or bigger.

We promise, if you read the guidelined diets in the diet forum, and pick out a workout routine in the workout forum, things will come together quickly. Give it a serious try for one month and see what progress you have made. Take another pick and compare. The difference will be great in just one month.

I'm sorry Ryan but your posts just make you sound lazy and impatient to me. If you want to mess yourself up go right ahead. Taking anabol will do nothing but make you look fatter and give you temporary strength gains. You have done no research. Doing a little bit to see how it qffects you is a plain stupid move. We have told you how it will affect you.
Big boned is a term used by lazy fat people, I know this because I was one. Man up and get your diet and training sorted and then think about juice in a couple of years.

    Same here.

    Ryan,
Its all how bad you want it.
For me..I was tired of being
    fat,and I was FAT!

I did get my diet in check with
the help of the diet forum...and
    with discipline,and determination
    you can do it.
Start off with AM cardio on an
    empty stomach,and within time
you will shed that belly fat and
then some.Give it a try! the more
time that goes by..is time that
could have been used to reach
your goal. How bad do U want it?

Yeah he is but IMO his comment was indeed insulting.

I'm just a noob myself on this site but that seemed pretty damned harsh. He explained he had no knowledge of steroids what so ever and was asking advice, you called him a 'lazy fat person' because of a term he was using. Constructively thinking with out the insults beast is right, just dont' know why he said it the way he did.

You can get a starting diet plan from a professional in my area for $70 can, thats pretty damned cheap I think considering what it can do for you. And eating clean on a good diet you can make huge gains if your just starting out especially. Steroids from what i've read are mostly for people that have hit plateau's in there gains, or are to damn old to make there own test anymore for the gains :P. Or of course str. gains for a certain sport/activity.

    Just my 2 cents

Fat Ryan! You asked for help! 'perfect beast' is a monitor who is
just telling you the truth. You will learn and he is not some one
who will tell you what you want to hear. This is not easy for any
of us. Get tough on your self and let me assure you all these
posters are good people that are all saying the same thing.
I think with proper diet and exercise you could shed about 50 lbs.
Learn a bunch and then when the time comes you will know what
do take and how to take it. You can PM any body here ,no one is mean
spirited. We all would like nothing better than to see you power-lifting.

to those of u who agree with me, thank you. i saw only a very little bit of help from him, the rest were unfounded assumptions and immature remarks.

for the rest of you who side with him, obviously you deal with alot of people coming on here asking for a quick fix with little work. thats to be expected. maybe i came off wrong or something, but ive repeatedly said now that im WILLING TO PUT IN THE EFFORT. i dont understand what you dont get...just because i think a dietary suppliment would aid in my efforts to lose weight, doesnt mean im lazy. ill run, ill diet, ill do whatever it takes to look how i want to look. i am here asking for professional help arent i...

Maybe the only way to get through to the thick headed is to be harsh....

And this big bone thing is cracking me up LOL.

I've never seen a skeleton with 2 chins.

    I do agree here tho.

A large skeletal frame is no excuse to let oneself be a fat ass... It's no reason to delude oneself either. Fat is fat...Bone is Bone.

That's the usual excuse in my country.

    "I'm not fat.. i'm big-boned"

"I've never seen a skeleton with two chins"... I'm saving that.
