    Thumbs up Weight Loss Help!!

    Ok bros,

Need some help giving advice. I have a girlfriend of mine that went from 220lbs to 165lbs in 12 months, she has changed her diet completely and is working out perfect. The only problem is she has plateau at 165lbs and is having problems losing weight here in. I tried to switch her routine, I made the workouts more intense but its not working. Do you think it time she take something to help out with the weight loss? Clen is out of the picture but I was think maybe hydroxcut would help. Can you please give me some help to assist this dedicated chick to achieve her goal of 135lbs. The 55lbs weight lost was all natural, and Im proud of that but its time to get to the serious part in her goal to lose the last 30lbs. Any advice is welcomed and I thank you for your response.

    Peace

How is her diet? Maybe her diet needs to be switched up..

Also hyrdoxycut is a supplement which is pretty crappy fat burner anyways. I think her diet may need a change

Morning: Egg Whites and a apple
    Afternoon: Plain Salad w/fruits
    Snaks: Tuna/Chicken Breast
    Dinner: Soup (Veggies/chicken)
    snak: Maybe some salmon

This is what she ate for today, its usually something like that.Giving you an idea. She eats some small every 3 hrs or so.

I told her to join but she is very shy and she is thinking about it. I thank you for the advice though.

Looks like she starved her self for a while. The diet is fairly poor. Not enough foods and not enough protein carbs or fat. Take a look at the cutting sticky and gather some ideas. BUT SHE is not EATING enough!

    Ok I will give you her exact diet schedule, didnt have it at hand before my apologizes. Here you go;

    Morning (8am)- Egg Whites and a apple/fruit
    10am- Turkey Wrap
    12-1pm- Chickek breast with Yams
    3pm- tuna and a fruit
5pm- (This depends on the day) Salmon, salad(limit dressing) and rice.
    8-9pm-Protein shake (Rice Cakes)

This is a normal day of eating, some days she will switch things around, sometimes on the 5pm there would be some lean meat.

*I will let her know thanks for the incouragement for her to join this will help me show her ppl are friendly here and willing to help, thanks.

Since we have that clear now, any advice on how to over-come this plateau?

    Thanks for the responses.

    Peace.

The plateau IMO is because of her diet. I would drop the sugar carbs from fruit and subsitute them with low gi carbs ( oats, yams brown rice).

I would also remove the turkey wrap... ( is it store bought)?

also i would remove the rice cakes ( they are crap).

She needs more fats in her diet example Tuna and 2 tablespoons of flax oil etc...

Part of the problem is her diet. She's not getting enough food intake. Obviously she needs to eat well and balanced, but she needs to be taking in more to go along with her exercising. Many people dieting make the mistake of thinking that by limiting the amount of food eaten they will lose weight -- in reality what happens is that their metabolism will slow down in response to less food taken in as a kind of survival response and the body will store more resulting in less weight loss, to no weight loss at all and in some instances actually gaining weight. Keep her focused on exercising, especially cardio work and improve her diet -- taking in more (balanced) food/calories.

She shouldn't be shy about joining the women's forum, no one can see her, or know her name and she may actually enjoy it.

Thanks for the replys, I will change up the diet abit more. Currently she is doing 1 hours of cardio I think I should move it up to 1 1/2 hrs? Should I advise her to take any thing to help with the weight loss?

P.S. she might join the site so that would be great.

    Peace

1 hour of cardio is enough.. when does she do it?

The main issue is her diet.

The right kind of diet, meaning nutrition and intake, is the most critical element in working out and gaining muscle mass, or even keeping muscle mass. If you don't get enough caloric/fat/nutritional intake your body will literally start to eat muscle fiber. To little nutrition/balanced intake and your metabolism will slow down and store more unused fat.

I'd suggest for her to join up herself. Let her research, and find out what is best for her.
