The big-wigs of the Big Three, Christianity, Judaism and Islamism are all thugs. All of the major wars and the conflicts in the history of mankind have all been instigated, or carried out by any combination of the above. Hundreds of millions have died at the hands of those who profess the only legitimate connection and communication with God and then violently pit their dogma and piety against the others. It has been the case forever. What it comes down to is religious politics, just as in secular/government politics and politicians, they are all blood-thirsty, war-mongering idiots -- the leaders in all always sound the bugle call of piety and patriotism to send the followers and conscripts off to fight their dirty battles. Case in point, the priest and nuns in Rwanda who were just convicted of mass murder for their participation in the murder of so many Rwandans. Examples all over the world in all three religions. What can't be denied is that someone uses their beliefs to go on missions for two full years of their lifes to help others -- that isn't about religion but individual sacrifice and having a good human spirit.
