Accepting the fact that I was might die. Some how luckily I did not.

I was ridding by my self one day on some back roads in Ny states. There were 4 cars in front of me. So I decided to pass all 4 of them at one time. I downed 2 gears hit the gas and went into the left lane. Before I know it there was a car that pulled out and was going to be coming into my lane right at me. I was not able to get back into the right lane and I was doing about 165-175 mph. So in a split second I came to terms that I was going to hit the car head on. My body went numb and flush and I accepted the fact I was going to die. I was lucky that the car saw me and drove off the road into a ditch to avoid hitting me.

currently in it. i am in the midst of a court case, which stemmed from an incident over a year ago. i have a completely sparkling record, have worked with kids etc, planned to move to america. literally put one foot wrong, and im looking at potential jail time for an injury that nobody can say for sure that i caused. having this charge on my record (gbh) would mean i lose my bouncer license, and my chances of getting a visa, or even entering america or japan (another country i wished to work in) are greatly diminished. i also contemplated being a bodyguard, but again, with this on my record, that is uncertain

My worst scenario was when i was driving down a road one day and I pulled out when I see this lunatic biker headed my way at very high speed. I had to crash my lovely car into a ditch. Damn crazy bikers!!!

I know how you feel mate, i am awaiting charges on a GBH (which the police luckily think will get dropped) and have recently got off with a couple of others. I would add that none were a result of me deliberately going out to hurt someone, but merely defending myself and colleagues.

    I have 2 -

Fell off a cement slide ride, was thrown air borne, and had burns on my face, legs and arms as well as a blood clot in my leg - coming to terms with the fact i would be scarred forever and my face was ruined. (I still have a scar on my leg and arm, but somehow after 2 years the one on my face disappeared)

Oyah i also got my car totalled by a big snow plow ( a grater).. it came over the hood while i was stopped at a street crossing.

Mine had to be getting smacked in the face with the bottle. When I felt all of that blood pouring down my face I thought i was going to bleed out and die right on the floor. Then to come and find out a few days later my skull was cracked and pretty face had scars was hard to cope with.

Hitting a tree on my snowmobile. I came around a turn at about 100mph, and I knew the trail really well so I knew I could handle it.. Well some jackasses had taken off in the middle of the turn really fast, and that throws snow up, creating a big dip. Well I got air, and you can't really turn in the air, so when I got grounded again, I pinched the breaks to slow down and avoid hitting trees head on, well it slid my back end out and my leg came out of position.. so inbetween the tree and my sled was my leg, the effect actually almost took my leg off, in fact the scar looks as though it was re attached........

When My niece died and my father battled prostate cancer.. Those two were the WORST feelings ever!!!!

Right now my situation with my girl.. I want her back, I have to accept I screwed up, and I have to work at things in order for her to give me another chance.. Swallowing pride sucks LOL

GBH, the party drug! or is that the British abbreviation for some offense/misdemeanor? "Gross Bodily Harm", maybe?

I live in a bad neighborhood so here are some of my experiences:

Having a shotgun stuck to my head by some tweaker at 3:30 in the morning as I come home from work…

Having a gang banger stand 2 feet away from me and pull a handgun and threaten to kill me…

Watched 2 gang bangers beat the Bajesus out some guy with a baseball bat while just ordering a sandwich at Subways.

And worst of all, having my father die when I was only 17.

That would hurt... I am glad he pulled through... It makes me shutter to think of anything happening to my 4 year old boy... For me that would be the worst.

To us Brits it means "Grevious Bodily Harm" ... it is quite a serious charge usually ending in prison time if proven>

I was driving while stoned once when I was 19, I was pulled over by the police so I immediately ate the ounce of "the stuff we dont discuss here" that I had on me before the policeman got to the window, he then said... Youve got a tail light out sonny, get it fixed and he walked off... No idea what happened for a week after that

LOL there not charging me with using a gay party drug LOL. Grevious bodily harm, it means you have broken bones or cut someone, ABH is actual bodily harm means you have bruised or mildly cut someone.
