    Hey im new

Hi peeps, my name is Brad and im 19 years of age.

Ive been training for over a year now, and have recently started using AAS.

    Im 5ft .10
    86kg
    14.5% body fat

Im on week 6 of my cycle, of taking 500mg / week of test e.

Just need a few pointers, im having trouble with getting my bodyfat down, ive cut out all crap food, i eat a max of 100g carbs a day (sweet bars Nutri Grain) plus the carbs contained in other meals.., with min 250g protein, yet im finding it very hard to reduce my bodyfat.

I AM on a bulking diet whilse using AAS.

Is it true that protein can turn into carbs fat if not used (whilse working out), is this the prob im having? Although i workout min 4-5 days a week in the gym.

    Welcome to AR...

I've found that a bulking diet can complicate reducing the bf%, however, If you clean it up more, yet keep the cals up there, you can probably keep the bf% from increasing.
I'm on a bulk diet myself, but it's a strict diet as well...very clean...maybe a cheat once every other week or once a week at the ultimate most. I still find it extremely difficult to reduce bf% while bulking, but can keep it stable...the real reduction in bf% occurs with me when I run a cutter, and tighten up the noose on my diet.

Post up your complete diet in the diet forum for some critique and hopefully some bros in there can point out where you might be going wrong with your diet and where you are right...
Remember, diet is critical to any real progress that you're going to or not going to make with your training regimen and the combined use of AAS.

    Good luck,

    -Shrpskn

Shit!..I didn't even spot his age in his post...

Seeing he's already 6 weeks in, I figured the advice I gave him is as good as I could give him.

    Peace,

Nice attitude. If you "know everything you need to know," why are you here asking questions?

Well if you did so much research you would've known that you should've cut your bf before you started cycling! What was your bf% pre-cycle?

aye, too young to be on AAS, but youre already balls deep into the cycle so wot can we say. this is a growing trend here, youngins comin in here tellin us they know it all, and know what they are doin, yet the ask why they arent gettin the gains or goals they had expected. hm, if you think you know it all, why is it you feel the need to ask for advice then garry additude when its not wot you wanna hear? if you know it all, shouldnt you expect to hear this?

anyway, you wanna keep fat down while bulking? I usually expect to gain a bit on a bulk and lose the fat later, I find fat is easier to lose than lean mass is to gain.

perhaps you should have dieted for a lower BF% prior to the bulk...
you may also want to up yer carb intake for a bulk...
for some reason I figure you should post yer diet in the diet forum so we can see it. unless your not going to listen to the adive handed there either.

imo and many others yes you are too young, your natural testosterone is at its peak from now till you are around 21 and you are supressing this by using gear, imo you have not done your research otherwise you would have held off...
but at the end of the day the choice is yours and we can only advise you on what you should do.................

If you know so much why are you eating shitty nuri-grain bars. They are candy dressed up as health food. Post your diet for critique then watch the vultures pick over whats left.

Brad there are alot of young guys here holding off to take advantage of our natty horomones and i am one of them and know about quite a few others. I would hit pct right away...an aggresive one to. I doubt your diet in 100% in check I know your not near your genetic limit or even close and most off all your messing with your natty hormones at a young age. Doest HRT mean anything to you becouse chances are you will become very familier with that abbrevation

You're getting most of your carbs from sweet bars?...not good.
You want a whole lot more complex carbs, and not so much simple carbs. Especially when bulking.
Simple carbs aren't bad for a quick energy boost, lets say, pre-workout. Otherwise I try to avoid the simple carbs as much as possible.

    Good luck,

Well he didnt ask if he was old enough and he made his choice so we just need to get off of that and answer her questions... In my bulking cycles i just try to eat everything that i can that is not fried or has simple carbs. everything else is good for me and i dont gain much fat, just muscle and a lil water. but this is what works works for me. if you are gonna grow you have to eat to grow and that requires a lot of food. which a small amount is going to turn to fat. good luck man i hope you figure it out and keep us up to date

He needs a lot more than his questions answered, he does not even understand the basic common sense stuff. "I want to lose bodyfat" and "I am bulking" appearing in the same sentence and then admitting he gets his carbs from Sweets both kinda outline that. Either he posted this as a joke or he really needs to sit down and read some basic nutrition books.

my diet is not very extraordinary, just simple, and boring, but it works.
It just consists over min 8 boiled egg whites a day, and atleast 2 tins of tuna a day. i eat all i can to get around 250g protein down my throat put it that way.

Yes you want to add lean mass, with your diet approach will be very very hard.

it should look something like this but better adjusted to your stats. Also you need to do cardio to loose fat with a clean diet

You may be dedicated enough, but I thought I should share this with you. I am in EXACTLY the same situation. I am 19, almost 20. I decided to lay off the juice till late 20 or 21. YOU CAN GROW NATURALLY. I am living proof. I cleaned my diet up about 8 months ago and my BF is around 9% right now. I went from 149 to 166 in about a year. It is possible. Since you are already doing it, please let us know how it goes. Stay off it for a while after man. Its not worth it just yet. Wait until you cant grow anymore naturally, and then you will become a monster using AAS. I know I can get to 175, and that is what I am waiting for. Genetics also has a lot to do with it. The reason I will start at 175 is because I am already the biggest guy in my family going back 2 generations. Is your dad a big guy? If he is, ill bet you can be too. Your diet looks ok, but there are definately improvements to be made. Dont consider this a lecture. I am the same age as you and I wanted to share my situation with you to perhaps give you a paralell view of your situation. Things always make more sense hearing it from someone outside the box. Enjoy the juice, and remember, this is all weight that could have been put on natty.

    Would he know the difference?

Get stuck into the diet forums and research nutrition. It might be a good idea to visit a nutritionist at least once. They will give you plenty of info hand outs and tell you where to get more info. Or you could use the money your spending on gear towards a personal trainer which will help you alot more than gear as it's only as good as your diet and training.
