    There are stickies and educational threads all over the board...if some people would just take time to check these things out, then they wouldn't rush into the board with dumbass questions which may result in some heated criticism.

    Actually limited access to noobs. After a person has been registered and posted for whatever limit, then they get full board access.

    In these limited access forums, strick rules could be enforced. Lots of boards out there you cannot even read them unless you sign up. Keeps nosey LEO types from lurking.

    After you meet requirements, then you can REQUEST full access.

    VERY easily done with vBulletin.

    i don't think he is talking about THAT particular thread. did you read the one where a dumb question was asked, then someone just straight out said "this just shows you are a dumbass" or something like that. i think he means that one.

    AHHHHHH ok. then I would concur. Out right blatent name calling like that is definately unacceptable.

    We definately don't need that behaivor around here. Its one thing to give good advice, but when people are scared to ask questions in fear of humiliation, then we have done a diservice to the community that you vets have spent so much time building.
