It seems the ref's need to get on the same page on when to stop a fight. This was a title match i think the fighters should be given a little more time. I don't know who the guy was but big john was the ref. The one guy was getting beat a lot worse then Tito was and John let it go. The announcers were talking about how john knows this fighter and knows he can handle it so he will let it go a little longer. How is that fair? Also Chris Lebmans fight wasn't stopped till he was out cold.

I will say it seemed like the ref stopped it a little to soon but honestly it doesnt matter, tito was pretty much done there. I recorded the fight and if you watch it closely Tito pretty much couldnt do anything and when he started to get up was after the ref started to push chuck off of him.

i agree RAR, but i think the fight shoulda been over in the first round. liddel just out fought him, you have to give the guy that much, even if you dont like the iceman....

the thing is when you curl up into the fetal position you are not intelligently defending yourself, the fight is gonna get stopped. On your back you can close the distance, push of the hips, scramble up. In the fetal position you are covering up and thats it, that is not intelligently defending yourself

Its hard to say but tito didnt stop. I love the iceman and im glad he won the fight. Im looking at it like this, its a title shot and the ref doesnt want to stop the fight when it doesnt need to be. Chuck dominated the first round (and pretty much the whole fight) but tito came out and barely won the second but he still won it. After that it was done tito couldnt do anything. IMO tito didnt look like he normaly does. He looked like he started to get tired and was confused about why his gameplan for the fight wasnt working. He tried everything but none of it worked.

I don't think Tito won the second round at all!! He might of taken Liddell down, but thats it, he got right back up and they gave him that round to make him feel better i think...Tito is all talk!! His upper body is bigger than his lower body. I'm sorry, but Tito is just not that good!!

Cro Cop could cut to light heavyweight. He is carrying a bit of fat on him and I know dudes with less fat that him that wrestle and cut more weight than that on a regular basis. He is only like 220lbs, and not a ripped 220 either.

I wrestled my entire life including college. Crocop could not make 205, he comes in at 220 that is after a training camp. He walks around heavier then 220. He could make it, but his performance would suffer severly. It would be a very very tough cut.

I agree but thats the way the UFC is. If its a stand up round with few punches being thrown and you get a takedown, you will pretty much win that round.
