looking good, but one comment I have is about the bodyfat. Seems like at 12% you would have much more visible abs and cuts in the back, where did you get it tested?

  4. #4
Looking Fit, but you do not have a 28'' waist or a realxed 46.5 chast

I was thinkin the same thing. He may have a 28" waist but there would be a pretty good "V-taper" to meet to a 46" chest. Did you measure around your shoulders/arms or under your armpits?

    What are your goals?

for reasons im not gonna go into i cant train abs at all and only do light back.hence why there lagging.

my goal is to put on a solid stone and a half(20lbs)over the next year or so.but cus i only have few intestines and a small stomach left, absorbing enough food is a problem for me.

i eat plenty and have even started to eat 2 mars bars after every meal,i know its not ideal but it is a way to try and bump up calorie intake

oh bodyfat might be off,it was measured on one of those handheld machines, which i think just gives you a rough idea.

Most people have no idea how to take a proper measurement, and the crazy claimes I see on the net prove that.

jason im sure your right about everything and are never wrong.

but i read the other day someone claiming to bp 365 and only weighed 181lbs.
that is a ridiculous claim, and if i was claiming to have a 52" chest i would see your argument but 46 isnt even big.

some people who dont even train have a 46" chest.and even though you dont like to be wrong you would have to admit everybody is built differently.

iv never seen pictures of you and im sure you have the perfect body, unfortuanatly i have skinny arms and a round chest.but thats what god gave me and im tryin to make the best of it.

theres only one thing i add inches to when measuring it.....and its not my chest.lol

365 raw at 181 is a great bench, I believe the raw world record is 556 by Rick Weil. As for your pics you look very fit and should be proud.

looking athletic. need to add some thickness with good diet and some heavy compound lifting If BB is your aim.
Your BF was off IMO. more like 15%. I also have a 46" chest. Maybe you have a very wide back which is giving the high measurement.

sorry jason didnt mean to bitch, but always been called skinny knowin i have a better body than most people sayin it(not intended for anyone on this board, just the mugs iv dealt with in my life) i tend to jump on the defensive.but thanks for the compliments anyway....and i am proud cus been a very hard gainer it took a lot of hard work.but thanks again

perfectbeast iv been following your log for ages and its propper inspiration, sort of tried following your diet too.bb would be great but im after shape over size.i know each go in hand but i have an odd shape and am tryin to widen myself.if that makes sense.lol.and i think i was kidding myself about my bf,cus those machines arnt any good and everyone told me not to beleive it.

tin tin.thanks for sticking up for me but my body is covered in scars from years of being naughty and surgery.but i do appreciate it.some people just dont have any respect or manners.on holiday (ignorant) people actually got out my way at the outside bar,i mean look at me...im about as scary as a very small teddy bear.lol.but again thanks

and thanks to everyone for the positive feed back.

any type of bodybuilding is a long road so we all appreciate encouragement along the way.

Ah, come on man, I know you have some of that tape hidden under your armpit!

    Haha, Jk man.

I didnt mean to flame you in the slightest, sorry if it came off that way. The first picture seems to be deceiving. I also didnt take into account that you may very well have a round rib cage(didnt even cross my mind), as to where mine is more oval...

Either way take it as you will, and keep up the good work!

XPIJEONX,like i said to jason im not really upset at that small flame, cus i know the shape of my body and if i was gonna lie id say i have 17" arms which i obviously dont.lol.but i do appreciate the positive comments.so thanks

JBARKLEY,any help you could give would be great.
i had bowel cancer 2 1/2years ago and after having most of my intestines and some stomach removed,2 cases of septicemia and 6 months of intense oxyplatin im back to my old self(well remision)but i honestly dont worry about it.
i went down to 9 stone (126lbs) so i hit the gym hard and ate everything in sight, once my appetite came back of course.lol.but now im upto the 12stone mark (168lbs) and im stuck.i cant seem to really put any more quality weight on.
my oncologist says a lot of nutrition is absorbed through the intestine wall so im probably missing out on upto 40% of the nutrition from the food im eating cus of how much intestines are missing.
seriously jbarkley any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

NUMBER TWELVE really dont worry about it,but thanks for the apology anyway.

Im having a tough time buying the chest measurement as well. Im not flaming or trying to be offensive, just dont see it. Im 5'10, 202lbs, 12-14 bf%, 46" chest and 17" arms. Looking at your pics, either your waist is bigger or your chest is smaller because proportionally, they're is not a big difference. My chest "appears" much wider than my waist, and Im not even close to 28".

At any rate, good luck, bro!

I had my colon removed in 1986 and in I was diagnosed with Lymphoma in the small intestine. After going through Chemo my weight was down to 135lbs I was 218lbs prior. After my diagnoses I investigated what caused cancer and then did the opposite, I ate organic fruits and vegetables, and Grass fed bison and beef, organic chicken, and wild salmon. I started using this stuff called Absorb Plus that works really well with a short gut, it has all the vitamins and minerals, protein and carbs. I checked and you can get it in the Uk check. http://www.imixnaturals.com/store/order.asp It works extremely well. Lot's of water, I have a reverse osmosis system in my house with an ozonator to add oxygen to the system as well. If this is of some help, ask me some specific questions and maybe I can be of some more help to you!

im not takin offense i just dont understand why some people on ar think everyone is built the same!

was reading a thread yesterday(aaronjm1984) said he was 208lbs.thats only 20odd lbs lighter than dexter jackson, vince taylor, darrem charles i could go on,and the guy looked no bigger than me.(no disrespect to aaron intended)

if you think we are all the same build, shape, genetics etc how do you explain the fact he doesnt even resemble these guys????

even with 20 odd lbs of muscle on his frame he wont look like them.its just the way he is built.

but thanks for the luck anyway

wow didnt realise there was so much rubbish in tap water....
i can buy one of those reverse osmosis systems for about £160 i think about $300.i drink a litre of water when i wake up and about another 1.5/2 through the day,cus i know i have to keep an eye on my liver now.so it may be worth investing in one next pay day.
iv been checking out that absorb plus, very interesting reading.gonna ask my local health food shop to get some in for me,they can usually get hold of anything.there very good.
prior to my operation i was a boxer so i was very fit and healthy with a very clean diet, which is why englands top genetisist has been keeping a log about me.i was young, fit, good diet, not much of a drinker and had no symptoms atall prior to me going into a seizure.(thats when the syst on my colon burst and caused the first case of septicemia)so i havnt really had to change my diet or lifestyle at all.
do you still get tired or has that gone away now?my surgeon said its cus my body isnt getting enough nutrition.now i eat more im better but still get the tiredness and it pisses me off,my girlfriend is superb though doesnt moan once im lethargic, she says i should stop training and i would have more energy.lol
what are your thoughts on steroids??even though i know im not ready for them, im interested in what someone whos been in a similar position to me thinks on the subject.

I still get tired, but I think that's from the chemo leftover and at age 48 probably has something to do with that to....I started with a "preventive medicine" clinic 14 months ago and they found my test, dhea and igf-1 levels to be extremely low. I started on TRT, hgh with 100mg of scrip dhea a day and have had an incredible response. Increase in weight, energy and overall feeling of wellness. I have I** so that's a constant battle and the both of us are going to always have to pay very close attention to diet because of the lack of absorption of nutrients from our food. But, obviously both of us are getting somewhere with this. By the way, I have since added Deca into my list of "products" with great results as well.
The $300 for pure clean water is a bargain. Water is do full of chemicals to "clean" in it now but when it hits the body it's toxic.....

    lookin good.

Even lookin at that measurement I really dont think your chest is 46.5"

There are many ways that someone could deceive that..and your lats are coming out a little during the measurement.

your quite right,iv never said i took the perfect measuement, but i am only human.lol

not sure why slightly off measurements upset people so badly.lol, its not like im claiming to be 300lbs of beef.lol(your not included, cus i didnt take your comments as a flame)my bf% was off i already knew it wasnt that accurate, and if somone else measured my chest it might come in lower.but even if they did it wouldnt be a million miles away from what i measure it as.

sorry for the rant.lol.but thanks for the compliment, its always appreciated.
