first injection - FAILED

Well guys, i am a total idiot.

So, i first put alcohol on my right quad and open amp, from here it goes all wrong. I had only 23G and 25G, so i started drawing with 23G and it wont draw, then i Pull it off and tried to draw without needle and i drawed maybe 0.5CC. I said ill inject this until i buy 18G needles but as soon as i put needle into me my stomach started to hurt and then i pulled the needle out. Some blood got out and i feelt sick for a minute. Oh yes my hands were shaking all the time. Any advices for the next time (****, i lost 1/20 of my gear)

1) what are you injecting in your stomach?

2) never pull the top off a sealed vial, its sealed to be sterile...sticking your dirty syringe w/ no needle directly into it was a DUMB idea...i dont even know how much contanmination might have occured

Allways use the needle to draw man, everything has to be sterile, yes it takes a bit to draw b/c its small, also takes a bit to inject. Where are you injecting? first few times might be a good idea to go into your quad because its right infront of you

still was a bad idea to have touched your non-sterile syringe barrel tip to the gear

you need to relax and go slow...sometimes depending on what your drawing, 23 will pull it out, you just have to be patient.

i set up like a little step by step. ill set out the alcohol, the gear, a syringe/tip and an extra tip to draw. then ill have a steril wipe and another to put pressure on the spot when im done. and then i have a bandaid, but you dont have to use that.

seriously though, relax. give yourself plenty of time and privacy to do it. if you know anyone that you trust and is qualified to help you might want to go that route.

you might try pumping some air into the amp to get it to draw faster.

also try some relaxing music. some people ive met just can't do it. they cant bear the thought of injecting themselves and they need someone else to do it.

You have to inject air into the vial first. I had a hard time drawing out of the vial the first time too. I only injected a half of a cc of air and that wasn't enough.

a 1" needle should be long enough to do the job bro i use 23ga 1" needles and never had a problem drawing from amps and i change the needle after cause i always hit the bottom and dull the 1 im drawing with so always use afresh sharp needle itll go in nice nice and take your time relax and dont fk yourself up dude

depends what gear he has. Some UGL gear is V thick and must be drawn with biger pin. Shooting is a slow process!!

leave the amp in a half cup of hot water not boiling just hot for a few minutes
and then draw with 23g needle then inject with 25g needle and don,t open the amp until you are ready to draw,

oh yeah, is your plunger hard too, i mean i need both hands to pull it off, i cant imagine aspirating with it without holding it with 2 hands

i did it, i injected 3 ml(FL) of test into glute, aspirated and all, took me 3 minutes to inject, it was painless,great, addicted, used to warm up amp before drawing with 20G needle, just want to say thanks, see you in 2 months in cycle log subforum

I lucked out on my first, super clean and painless, my second left me limping for 5 days...
