I'm going on a cruise in march, need to know how thoroughly they search your luggage cuz I'm thinking about bringing some gear with me since this is unexpected and I'm mid cycle. Any ideas?

everything is different now. i went 2 years ago and they did a piss poor job at searching and i left from jersey. i brought a 1.75ml bottle of grey goose on with no problem.
its pretty easy just leave it in your main bags. or if its only 1 bottle you could keep it in your poket..they are usually very swift and trying to move everyone as fast as possible.
but again what do i know..use your own discretion

make sure you have your passport..
the search was random so you through the dice, they are more looking for people bringing in bottles of booz...
the drug and bomb dogs do the bags in the holding area..
no big deal, just remember, the worse case, you get booted off your cruise, and charged with posession..
