i haven't read all responses, but what you do is if he doesn't want anything to do with the kid, then have him sign papers waving liability. thing is, he still has 18 years of child support to pay. you can nail him on many counts to pay for that baby, but if he waves those papers, no custody hearing, no visits, this guy basically just has to pay money to your sis.
