No. Its a human mistake which got the a-hole in the circumstance he fatally was in, so no it is not the cats fault.
It's a wild animal, not like a dog or domesticated house cat.
If the cat killed its prey and somebody tried to approach it, then the cat would be protecting its kill. It would see the others as a threat and would attack them also.
and NO....It's not the cat fault.
