u r right. i plan on keeping my pro/fat , and pro/carb meal combos but im sure the portions wont match. the main thing really is i dont want to be stressing about it the whole time. ive got ocd big time and i find myself getting a knot in my stomach just thinking about it and worring about getting it wrong. oh well i guess i can tell u all how i ate and how much i gained. it really sucks that u could gain 10 lbs in a wk and it could take 1 month or more to get it off. oh well if it was easy everybody would be ripped and that sure as hell isnt the case!

you'll put on alot of water weight due to the fact alot of junk foods are loaded with sugar and sodium. but, 1 week wont KILL you, just don't let it happen for a longgg time

imo, if your working out while on the cruise...doin some swimming youll be more active then normal...so if persay you dont continue cutting but eat around maintence you could be ok with the extra activty you will have....alcohol not included.

I suppose one reason why I didn't gain alot of weight is because I walked around Florida all day everyday

so i have to eat 3500 fat calories or food that turns to fat to gain a lb of fat. cause i dont think 3500 clean calories = lb of fat, right? not arguing just trying to understand better.

for those of u who havent been on a cruise, u could EASILY put down 8k of calories in a day. eating on a cruise becomes an artform. last time i went they gave a stat that the average cruiser gains 12 lbs in a wk, but i think alot of that is water, i hope anyway. thats why im asking how much FAT can u gain in a wk.

On my cruise I came back 2lbs lighter....could've been the alchohol, but 1 week later I was back at the same. I mean I just don't see how your body could keep storing fat over 7days, I would think you'd just be shitting like crazy for awhile and feeling soo full. Cruises kick ass tho, I was eating lobster, tilapia, mahi-mahi, salmon, steak etc etc all the time...awesome.

3500 EXCESS calories will add 1lb of weight, fat/muscle depends on working out bla bla.

But it does not matter if it comes from good or bad food. You have an excess of 3500kcals sittin in your body and your sitting on a cruise ship you are gaining a pound of fat bro. So that being said if you eat 3500kcals over your maintenace each day you will gain 7lbs of fat.

If you eat at the three regular meal times that most people eat at, you might not gain any. Are you going to drop all of your protein, carbs, and 5-7 meals a day? U could also gain alot. Three regular cruise meals a day at 1000-2500 cal a pop can have you screaming fat a** very quickly.
