HCG Injection Info...

I bought HCG -- it came with 10,000usp units of hcg and 10ml of bacteriostatic water. It says it is for IM Use Only....

Can someone explain to a rookie how to mix these? I'm looking to make shots of 200iu (not sure if its the same as usp).

I know I will need a sterile vial, alchohol pads -- just not sure what kind of syringes/size/how much to fill them with.

Your help would be TRULY appreicated!!

If the vial that contains your hcg powder will hold 10ml of water you can just mix and store it in that vial. If it is a small one, I would suggest buying a sterile 10ml vial to mix and store in.
Most Hcg will say for IM injection on the box. Having done a thourogh search as well as talked to a doctor, I found that sub-q injections are fine for hcg. In a couple of studies it was found that sub-q injections gave a higher blood concentration than the IM injections.
Use a 29g or 30g insulin syringe for injections. Most are graduated in 100 units, and 100 units is normally = 1ml (1cc).

Here are instructions for how to do it from scratch (set up for 1/2ml @ 250iu's):

You need to buy some Bacteriostatic water and a sterile 10ml vial. If you mix with the 1ml solvent that came with it you would have 5000iu/ml. That would be hard to break down into 250iu injections, plus storage issues.
This is what I did:

1. Break open hcg vial and inject 1ml bac water (do not inject directly on powder, but down the sides of the vial). Powder should dissolve immediatly.

2. Inject 9ml of Bac water into sterile vial and then inject the 1ml mixed solution into the same vial.

3. You now have 10ml of hcg @ 500iu per ml. Use 1/2 cc or 50 units on the insulin syringe for 250iu. Store in the refrigerator.

I use a 29g or 30g insulin pin and inject sub-q around the belly button. Just grab a pinch of skin and inject.

I'll stear you in a different direction. 10ml of solvent is way too much in my opinion unless you like injecting yourself with a lot fluid.

When I reconstituted my 5000IU of HCG I have used 1ml of BW. So, each 5IU on a 1/2cc or 50IU insulin syringe would give me 250IU of HCG.

But, when I do it again, I will use 2ml this time around as it is easier to measure.

In any case, forego your 200IU shots. 250IUs are much easier to measure. When measing something in an insulin syringe, go in multples of 5IU for 1/2 syringe and 10IU for 1cc syring.

So, if you use 2ml of BW, you will need 10IU to get 250IU of HCG. Still buy the 1/2 cc insulin syringes and they are usually 30gauge I believe. You can get them at Wal-mart, Costco, or on-line. But the ones with 1/2" needle.

Few precausions. Always wash your hands before hand. Always wipe the top of the vial with an alcohol pad. Never touch the needle to anything. Always wipe the site with an alcohol pad before injection. There is a sticky on how to do injections or you can search on google. I think it's injections.com or similar.

You are right! The instructions I gave you was for 5000iu's of hcg. So if you mixed your 10,000iu's of hcg with 10ml of water it would be 1000iu's/ml.
I don't have a problem with injecting 1/2 or 1 ml sub-q. It has always been painless for me. You can mix it to any concentration you want, for me it is just easy and accurate to dose it the way I explained.

Live and learn - I have replied to 5000IUs as well. In any case, you just double the solution and everything stays the same ie. for 10,000IU I would use 4ml of solution and 10IU on the syringe would give you 250IUs of HCG.

40 units is 400iu. 20 units is 200iu.

An insulin syringe and an insulin "pin" are the same thing.

Dont inject in your belly button, inject next to your belly button. Pinch the skin NEXT to your belly button and do the injection in the skin that you have pinched. you wont even feel it.

You know, it's not that complicated - a little math/thinking wouldn't hurt anyone.

1,000IU HCG / 1ml or 100IU of solution
to get to 200IU of HCG, you divide both sides by 5, thus you get:
200IU HCG --- 20IU of solution

Are you sure its ok to inject SubQ even though the package says for IM use only?

Yes, 100% sure. It is also preferred by many users as is easier to apply.

Right now, I have a script for HCG and my doc adviced me to do subQ even if I remember correctly on the leaflet it said IM. I didn't read the whole thing, maybe somewhere they mention that you can also shoot subQ.

SubQ, has been recommended by health professional and even if you search, my product manufacturers.
