NEVER use finesteride while on any dht based juice!

seems it would be totally pointless to run a dht based steroid while taking a drug that blocks DHT, DHT, ie finesteride (proscar/propecia). true?

im pretty sure this has been discussed many times.....do a search. i think the outcome is that it only affects your gains to an extent b/c it only blocks the dht in your scalp but dont quote me on that...do a search

I would say it is useless to use finasteride while running dht based gear. Makes more logic put this way.

It does not affect your gains from dht based gear because it doesn't interfere with dht by any means, all it does is prevent test from converting to dht.
One other thing is that it blocks 5ar enzyme, not dht, and it does it systemically, not only on the scalp.

i have done a search. I didnt find much. probably didnt look hard enough. Finesteride blocks DHT in more than just the scalp though. It has to cuz its also used to prevent or reverse enlarged prostate. Also, if it only blocked DHT in the sccalp why would it cause a decrease in libido?
Hugo, you think i would be alright with 75 mgs of AD ED if I use that spiro %? I got some ordered.

the main thing it does is block the alpha-5 reductase that converts Test to DHT. It would have no impact on hormones that are already DHT.

correct. finasteride is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor. it lessens test to dht conversion, it does nothing to dht itself, nor its analogs.

hey, iv near took juice before but when i do i wanna really protect my hairline, its hard to figure out whether its genetic as my grandfather died in his 20s, my dads got a receading hair line and hes 50. should i run it to be safe or should i see first how i would react to the test? Also which do u guys think is a better choice Dutastride or Finasteride or is there something even better then these two? Lastly how long should i still use it for after the cycle is over?

    Thanks

I am going to try spirolactone 5% cream. Its supposed to actually block the DHT in the scalp only. Sounds like the perfect fix. Block DHT in the scalp while allowing it work elswhere in the body. Sounds good to me.

I am a bit confused by your post what compound exactly are you using?

If its TEST or EQ... u're fine, use FINASTERIDE.
if its DECA, TREN.. than u should not use FINASTERIDE...
and there are some other ones that u also should not use it with
