    questions after first injection

well i popped my cherry, didnt really hurt that much but i have a few questions from some things i observed. i am using 23/1.5"/3cc needles, shooting 1CC of test cyp.

    1) i heated my vial in some warm water for a few minutes to raise the viscosity but when i was drawing, it didnt just flow right into the syringe. i had to almost pull the plunger back just to draw 1CC out. is it just because i am using a 23g needle?

    2) when i aspirated, i didnt see any blood but i did notice that a drop of clear liquid dropped out of the injection hole on my buttcheek. is this normal and okay?

    3) started injection into body, went smooth except towards the end i really had to push to get it all out ... had a lot of "pressure" against it. is this normal or just cuz i am using a 23g needle? should i stick with this or buy some 22g needles instead?

just some concerns/questions i had after my first injection....im sure you guys know what im talking about after your first time. thanks

    1. heating will lower viscosity. It is not necessary and yes you have to pull back the plunger in order to create negative pressure that draws the oil into the syringe.

    2. yes, it's likely the gear.

3.normal, you should be fine with the 23 gauge. My rule of thumb is if I can draw it in with 23g then I can push it out with same gauge.

    4. you are just over analyzing because it's your first time, I did the same thing. GL

i did aspirate, thats what happened when i did... no clear or blood like fluids went into the syringe like i thought would happen, thats why i wondered that. i will pay a little more closely to those things next time i inject but the first one went pretty damn smooth! no initial pain, just a little sore now.

Hey Bro - Before inserting your pin to draw out your gear, pull back your plunger and then push the air into your vial. This will create back pressure and make it much easier to draw out.
