If there are any questions in regards to making your own gear just ask them here. i have a little background when it comes to homebrew products (ie. making T enant. from raw materials.) Im sure i can answer alot of your q's. this can eliminate numerous threads asking pretty much the same q's in the future.

Do you have first hand chem. handling skills...or is it all trial and error experience?

I learned alot from animal's board and that is my main board that i go to. I've done quite a number of experiments and they turned out great for the most part. the only complicated one is syno conversion but to me that was pretty easy, it just consumed alot of time for the evaporation and so forth. if you have any questions shoot away.
