They are hit or miss down there. Some labs are faked all over the place though. The big name labs are hit or miss as well. Even though you can go into a store and buy the gear you should still be careful of LE down there. They make their own rules. I have heard of stores selling juice to Gringos and then notifying Mexican police who basically stop you, bribe you for all the cash you have on you, take your gear and then bring it back to the store you just got it from and get a cut of that money as well.
