how do you use these things? thanks!!
how do you use these things? thanks!!
got to USPS.com and put the number in the track or confirm box
thats it? i tried it already and that didn't work?! wtf
USPS sucks donkey balls when it comes to these things. Half the time they never work, while the other half they say they have been scanned in and that is it. Dumbest pieces of shit ever.
lol....i take it you haven't had the best of luck either!Originally Posted by Sir Lifts-a-lot

You actually may have better luck calling up the USPS number. I know I tried this once when I was expecting a package and it wasn't shhowing up online. I'm not sure if they still do this though.
LISTEN!!! a DC # is a delivery confirmation # . it ONLY gets entered into teh USPS system when the package is delivered to its destination. it is NOT a tracking #.
ding ding ing ding we have a winner !!!! DC#s are Delivery Confirmation
Yes but a DC# will tell you when it was accepted at the post office. So if drop it of in NYC it will say accepted in NYC on 7/18 then it will say 7/20 delivered Philadelphia. It wouldn't have any of the stops in between.Originally Posted by getnjakked

all gets complicated when you use the automated machine, at home programs, etc. but nothing worth freaking overOriginally Posted by gixxerboy1
as the prior posts say, it is just a delivery confirmation

DC #s suck.
Sometimes they'll take 2+ days to even show up as "accepted" which means it was accepted at the post office, which is the first scan the clerk does..
I wouldn't go emailing a source every 5 minutes asking why the DC isn't showing up yet, it isn't his fault.
This is, assuming this is what you are talking about![]()

i think 956 has it right. If they use the automated system or have a home shipper it wont show. If you go to the postal window and they scan the dc it will say acceptedOriginally Posted by getnjakked
