    Buff

I gotta disagree with this since I am a lawyer. The police are probably going to have a warrant to search your residence though, so you wouldn't want to have anything incriminating in your house (gear or pins). If a shipment is delivered without requiring you to sign it would be easy to get out of. Its not yours, someone who hates you is trying to get you in trouble, maybe the person who wants it wrote down the wrong address. They'd never get a jury to convict beyond a reasonable doubt as long as you have a clean house when they search.

I gotta disagree with you, since I, too, am a lawyer. You missed the point; Possession requires that he already accepted the package. Possession is not a package sitting on the front step post delivery by mailman. Thus, name becomes irrelevant, but only when the package is picked up with the intention to keep. Possession (accepting package) really is 9/10 of the law.

There are WAY more arguments to be made behind having a package that has someone else's name on it then there is with a package with your own name on it. Yea possession is not the package sitting on you doorstep, but no statute reads "POSSESION = GUILTY". Do you honestly think you can as easily get a conviction by someone having a package with someone else's name on it in their house vs. the alternative of having their actual name????? There are WAY too many plausible explainations... ie I was going to return take it to the post office, but haven't made it there yet. I've never heard anyone in law school or in practice say possession is 9/10 the law. Its a layman's misconception.

Do you really think its smart to use a credit card?? There are lots of other options which are a wiser choice!! A credit card is almost as smart as running down the street with your pants around you ankles and a loaded pin in your ass.
