The bench comes to my chest and back up, back up powefully? eh not so much, it might take a little bit, a good struggle, but it does go up, thats what iwould quialify as a MAX lift, if it went up 1 rep easy then i would think i woudl be able to get another and that wouldnt be max correct?

As far as my squat im not pulling some kind of tom platz shit, like ass to the grass squats, that shits pure insanity, i can prob do mabye 400 pounds ass to grass. Mabye my defenition off lifts are different then yours, or everyone else it seems.

Ill tell you that there not worthless half reps, according to you the are, or the powerlifting association, but im not a power lifter, so i wouldnt know.
im not hating on you. i was a speed and strength coach for awhile and still train on the side. to be considered complete lifts, range of motion is everything. its not me saying this. its anyone who knows what they are talking about with lifting. again, not hating.

if the lifts are 1/2 done they arent considered true lifts. thats that. i was once a partial rep guy in the late 90's too. then i started working with true trainers and got laughed out of the gym till i started moving in a full range of motion. my squat went from a nice quarter/partial of 520 for 1 to a full ass to the floor of 315 (200 pound drop right off the top and the 315 to the floor was 100% harder than the quarter rep). just the way it is. you get alot more out of a lift working from start to finish than from the strongest areas only, this is the idea with chains and bands, strengthen the weakest parts of the lifts to increase the overall.

not hating. good luck.
