I have personally never heard of a domestic parcel being seized. That's not to say it can't happen, just I haven't heard of it happening. I have ordered many things that take more than a week to get here though.

usps cant open your mail without a warrant unless your pack is leaking. Not sure about Fedex and ups but i wouldnt thnk they would ever do more than maybe send some dogs around once in awhile but 7 days is pretty long for ground from atlanta to ohio
