Lump on Quad and confused......

I had a sterile abscess on my right quad pretty bad... anyway on the side of my leg where there should be muscle seperation there is on my left and theres a noticable lump on my right......

Just wondering what the hell to do if anyone has experience with this.... BTW its been there for 2 months now...

Nope never went my leg swelled up like a balloon but wasnt infected just went away but left a small lump there..... been 2 months.... No idea if I should just ibu+heating pad treat it or what....

Personally I'd have a doc look at it, but others may have a better idea. Good luck bro.

Its so hard to say without seeing it ..

You said in your first post a noticeable lump . Than you said its a small lump. See what I am saying ?? Its so hard to judge or guess what this is without seeing it first hand..

When you say lump . Is it raised or do you just feel it if you push on it??

The way you have it worded in your second sentance( in your first post) is throwing me here ?? Is the lump at the inject site ???? Possible scar tissue maybe ?? Where exactly is the lump ???

Alright story start to finish Right Quad Injection became sterile abscess Injection was placed approximately 12inches from my knee on right side of leg.... Became swollen then went down now where there should be a split in the Quad there is a small bump which makes that line disappear. When messaging it I notice no prominent hard pocket just almost a muscle deformity from visual inspection and a superficial raise of muscle tissue...

Its almost as if its a lump under the muscle tissue that makes it look as though the 2 heads of my quad are one

It would only be noticeable to someone else if say I were competing...

Ya I'm goona start Hot compress/800mg Ibu 3x's a day and deep tissue messages of the area for a week and see what happens...

I think its worth a try .....

Hopefully that will help .. I totally understand when it comes to stuff like that.. Other peeps cant see it but I know its there and it bothers the hell out of me....

Howver a lipoma is a fatty deposit which is mushy and movable.
what the hell are you injecting there for you should stay in the upper glutemax or upper lateral thigh
next about a hlf hand width down from you femoral head

Crazy stuff I was messaging and messaging it and nothing so I said F-K it and Stabbed it with a 25 gauge and blood came dribbling out..... swelling went down a little and this hard knot came to the surface... I think I need to do a serious lancing with an 18G...
