What do you guys think about concealed carry?

Carry mace or pepper spray.

I see no reason anyone needs to carry a hand gun. To be honest, i see no reason they should even make them.

Well reason number one...is that it is in the Constitution that every person has the right to bear arms and protect him/her self.

Reason number two, if you do not allow citizens to carry handguns, only the criminals have them...

Its very easy to be idealistic and think that "the police can always protect you." However, anyone with common sense knows that the police are not everywhere at every time. If this were the case, people would not get robbed, raped, killed, mugged, etc, etc...

Mace or pepper spray? Many reasons this is not adequate. You dont bring a knife to a gun fight. And believe it or not, pepper spray does not work on everyone, especially meth heads and crackheads, sometimes shooting them doesnt even work unless your using a .45 or something similar with alot of stopping power. I just dont understand how any rational thinking citizen can believe that people should not have adequate and EQUAL means to defend themselves. By equal means, I mean why should a person rely on a less effective method like mase/pepper spray when the bad guy is carrying a gun?

Statistics show that conceal and carry lowers crime rates, PERIOD. Crazy people and bad guys will still get guns, whether you let law abiding citizens with clean records posess and carry them or not.

Not to mention, this bringing me to my next point. YOU dont think anyone needs a gun and cant see why they do. But I think that I do. So who are YOU to decide for me?

You can find about any statistic for or against somthing, if you look hard enough. But recently I read one posted on MSN that said the crime rate of concele and care was going up.

I know it is not for me to say, but it is just my opinion though.

A lot has changed since the consitution was wrote. We are not using muzzle loaders anymore for one.

Yes it is your two cent I respect that. If the government took away hand guns. They I say they because Legal gun owner rarely do not do drive bys or shoot people in front of liqure stores. They will start using knifes or rocks, or burn peole to there death. They is to afraid to use there hands. If you do your home work you will find that most crimes are comitted with illigal hand guns. But the media and the governmet will NOT tell you that. (So in short I need a hand gun to protect my self from they. IT is my right and I am very passionate about this subject.)Oh I do have a LOADED 38 above my pillow.( I have no kids so I can leave it loaded.)
