Diff. between andro and anabolic steroids

Could someone either give me a good scientific, educated answer to this or send me in the right direction?

The question being...what is/are the difference(s) between andro (any of them...if you need a specific...just use 1-AD for example) and anabolic steroids??

I have been asked this a few times and really cannot give them a good answer.

right, and the ammounts made are small/negligable...most commonly said is that prohormones are like steroids without the results but with the side affects...

I don't know why people dog on Andro. I made my fastest progress doing Ergopharm 900mg 4-Diol, 300mg 1-AD and Tribex per day. I had never even seen Steroids before and people where asking me about them. I had made it to my best relative strength (230/405 Flat Bench) on that cycle.

Andros work - you just have to shop for a good price, run the right dosage and use the right types.

Some are saying andro is crap and the only way to go is gear...others are saying that they have been the stongest on andro....

In all honesty, some andro products will result in some good gains but in no means be compared to the gains you get with steroids. Just depends on which route you want to take.

That's kind of like saying "I have taken steroids for 2 months and it didn't do shit for me except grow an acne farm on my chest" - What brand, what type, and how much of the Andro did you take. There are many variables that make a big difference.
