    Favorite vacation spot in Mexico?

I've been to a few places so far, but its time to plan the next trip.

    Where did you go?
What hotel did you stay at?
    Was it all-inclusive?
Any good bars/clubs that you went to?
What tourist attractions are there to see?

You get the idea. Thanks to all that help!

By the way, I left out places like Tijuana, Mexico City, and Guadalajara because I don't want to go there.

Rosarita: you have to love it because it's close and it has Pappa's and Beer (2 man volleyball)... plus Club Iggys! Also, you can do your AS shopping on the way!!!!

But for a real vacation... Cancun is always a nice choice.

Acapulco. I've been to Mazatlan, Ixtapa, Cancun and Aca. I would not go back unless it was to Acapulco. That place ROCKS. I stayed at the Mayan Palace. It was not all inclusive but it was awesome!

There were a few great places to go bar hopping there: the Enigma, Carlos and Charlies, Senor Frogs and there was one more and the name escapes me but it was awesome. I would definitely recommend going there!

Puerto Vallarta and Cabo definitely. Cancun is pretty dirty if you ask me. It's good for college peeps etc.

Been to Cancun 2 times in 2001. March and June. I went back so soon because , well there was this mex girl ya know.

But as far as Cancun goes, it was alot of fun. Plenty of activites, and some real nice hotels. But i did not get along all to well with the natives, most of them were real pushy and wanted your money.
Canun is most certainly a party town....You will need a vacation to recover from your vacation. Good Luck! I'm sure you will have a good time where ever you go.

I've been to Cancun and Puerto Vallarta and loved both, but I think I'll be leaning towards Cabo when its time to make a decision. Thanks to everyone that has replied...except Ron, you're just creepy.

I've been to Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, and Cozumel. I liked Playa Del Carmen the best. It was more relaxed than Cancun and had better beaches than Cozumel.

Playa del Carmen. Its between all the best places to go. Cozumel is an hour ferry ride, Cancun is an hour drive. There's Xel Ha and Tulum in the other direction. And you can catch a nearby prop plane to Chichen Itza. All this and relatively uncrowded beaches.

Playa Del Carmen hands down. I stayed at the Riu Palace. You can't beat it. You are in a 5+ star hotel and you can use all the facilities of the other 3 Riu's as well. But the best thing is they can't use yours.

It is a 20min. walk in to town and from there you can catch the fairy ride to Cozumel. Which is know world wide for the snorkling and diving.

I will be definitely heading back there. If you want any more info PM me.

If you go to Cabo, of course visit Cabo Wabo Cantina, then across the alley is the best strip bar in all of Mexico. Golf courses abound all around. Visit Lands End and climb to the top and watch the sun go down. Awesome. Great deep sea fishing, great diving. To me its the last, best place to visit in Mexico.

    Puerto Vallarta was a blast...

We usually go to Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point). It's a sh*thole...but close by and fun enough...I just like to go sit on the beach, drink tequila and eat at the taquerias...
