NAACP responds to Ron Paul allegations

NAACP President: Ron Paul Is Not A Racist Linder says Paul being smeared because he is a threat to the establishment Paul Joseph Watson Prison Planet Sunday, January 13, 2008
Austin NAACP President Nelson Linder, who has known Ron Paul for 20 years, unequivocally dismissed charges that the Congressman was a racist in light of recent smear attempts, and said the reason for him being attacked was that he was a threat to the establishment.

Linder joined Alex Jones for two segments on his KLBJ Sunday show this evening, during which he commented on the controversy created by media hit pieces that attempted to tarnish Paul as a racist by making him culpable for decades old newsletter articles written by other people.

"Knowing Ron Paul's intent, I think he is trying to improve this country but I think also, when you talk about the Constitution and you constantly criticize the federal government versus state I think a lot of folks are going to misconstrue that....so I think it's very easy for folks who want to to take his position out of context and that's what I'm hearing," said Linder.

"Knowing Ron Paul and having talked to him, I think he's a very fair guy I just think that a lot of folks do not understand the Libertarian platform," he added.

Asked directly if Ron Paul was a racist, Linder responded "No I don't," adding that he had heard Ron Paul speak out about police repression of black communities and mandatory minimum sentences on many occasions.

Dr. Paul has also publicly praised Martin Luther King as his hero on many occasions spanning back 20 years.

"I've read Ron Paul's whole philosophy, I also understand what he's saying from a political standpoint and why people are attacking him," said Linder.

"If you scare the folks that have the money, they're going to attack you and they're going to take it out of context," he added.

"What he's saying is really really threatening the powers that be and that's what they fear," concluded the NAACP President.

The NAACP is a ****ing joke but I will agree that it is a good thing that they stick to the facts instead of jumping on board.

One thing is clear folks, Ron Paul's message is getting out and the powers at be are getting a little uncomfortable. A smear campaign is in affect...so far it is failing.

Unfortunately, anyone who speaks freely on topics that the far-left does not want to hear is labeled a racist. I would have liked Paul even more if the NAACP was speaking out against him.........

Yes, I know. But people are not smart enough to stop and think "Wow, who is on this candidates team? Who is advising my candidate?".

Instead they choose to hear the same "We are gonna CHANGE, we are gonna make this CHANGE".."CHANGE", "CHANGE" bla bla bla

How can you expect them to "change" anything when their advisors are the exact kind of evil people running this country into the ground.

The only thing that changes is the puppet out in front (the President).

Election is making me sick. I am seriously planning to get the hell outta here if this doesn't pan out for the better. THere are a lot of culturally rich countries that are self contained, have a better economy, speak english, and Arabs don't hate and want to blow them up.
New Zealand, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark (I did say english, most people there do Australia is nice too. Maybe I can buy an island and make my own little country and elect Ron Paul as my president, lol.

I got in a huge argument at school the other day about Ron Paul. This sheepish bitch that cant think for herself said that she doesnt like Paul because he believes the government had something do to with 9-11. I said he has never publically said that, she responded by saying that his supporters think that. I said no they dont, some supporters have a conspiracy theory but Paul on public television basically called these people nuts. She then replies yes they do his supporters think that. I said I am a supporter and I certainly do not think that at all. I wish I would have thought of something along the lines as I saw some of the 30 second sound bites on CNN or Fox news to about the reports. And that everytime a political group wants to get attention all they have to do is mention 9-11 or terrorism and bam they suddenly have a stage.

Anybody that thinks the gov't had nothing to do with 9/11 is a brainwashed ****ing idiot!

It was nothing but a farce to create public support for our gov't to wage aggressive war against Iraq.

I have posted each "incident" that occured before each major war we have been involved in. 9/11 is no different.
