I changed that out because it was leaking (ebay cheapy). I went with the Turbox controller (i think that was the name).
I was putting out about 300+ HP. I have the dyno sheet scanned around here somewhere. I never took it to the track which i so regret. We mainly would street race them down in the city.

Big EVO 16G turbo, Straight through (no cat) 3" exhaust, 550 injectors, Apexi SAFC, 190 fuel pump, 2 1/2 inch upper/lower intake piping and im sure a bunch of other small stuff i don't remember.

The car got to be too much. I started school full time and was working full time. I no longer has endless amounts of time to spend working on it. Of course with any car the more you push it the more it breaks. I have had endless all nighters working on that car. On top of that it was sucking gas like a fricken v8 and my insurance was through the roof for the cheapest coverage. So i figured before i crashed it or someone stolen it i should sell it. I put it on ebay and someone flew out to me to get the car ! lol

I saw a Talon just like that, howveer looked like JUNK..couldnt even hold an idle... the front bumper was also zip tied on. I pulled up to it at a street race in Boston one night... didnt realize the thing had 700+ AWHP

I ended up parting ways at 6500. The only thing that wasn't replaced on that car was the tranny. I forgot to mention that before i did all this work i went out and bought a new motor that only had 40K miles on it. I don't go cheap when it comes to building my rides. When i got the car painted any part that had a "ding" in it was replaced, no bondo what-so-ever. I was crazy lol.
I don't know what it is about the DSM's but i am just in love and always will be.

6500 wasnt a bad deal on your part ... since it was your hours put into not being paid for ....... i bet the tranny was getting close.... especially launching a all wheel drive on gravel.... when racing...

I use to smoke V8s on the street. They would laugh at me while i lined up with them. They use to tell me to get my "rice burner" out of here. A guy would drop his hands and by the time the V8 stopped spinning his wheels i was halfway down the street aready (AWD power).

hmm... not a big fan of the 300zx's...... i have a 350z right now .... and trying to get aps extreme twin turbo kit ..... takes time .....
