Anyway, if I was going to recommend any handgun to a person for self defense, it would be a Glock every time. It's not a coincidence that most law enforcements agencies and federal agencies carry Glocks. Our State Police just switched over all of their Beretta's to Glock because of all of the problems they were having.

yea too bad fully autos and tracers are illegal in ny.... tracers are fun... all the assault r***es, like the m4a1, the AR-15 and all the machine guns like the mp5 and mp7 are all 3 round burst or single shot... the fully auto m4a1 and mp5 my father has from work we can't bring to the range... the only time i shoot those is at our 48 acher property in up state ny... we have an out door range there....

might be true, but here is another true statement...in battle every country is scared of it. Guaranteed.

Navy still uses it, special forces still carry it.

240G is still a little more practical to hand carry

don't have a whole lot of experience with the 240G Marines choice...it just seems that all attempts to replace the M60, just don't cut it as good. The SAW on paper is also better in every way measured... but in reality it doesn't quite compare or replace.

The m249 replaced it due to maintenance an mobility.... i.e. swapping barrels, 2 man crew to carry the rounds... but when it comes time to rock and roll...the M249 doesn't stand a chance... when I was in, the rto and 60 gunners were the prime targets... that 60 will put your head in the dirt quicker then shit.

listen to these...it's like music to my ears... working the 60 gun is an adrenalin rush like no other small arms. and you need to be jacked...to carry it...15inch arms at a minimum...j/k...lol
