Test and Eq would be a more viable option for an athlete. Eq raises your RBC count enhancing your endurance, to an extent, and doesn't produce the mass gains that Deca does. As a endurance athlete the last thing you want to do is start to pack on pounds of muscle that your cardio/vas system has to work harder to feed and supply the energy to move. A low dose Test @ 250 - 350mg/wk along with the Eq @ 400 - 500mgs/wk should be sufficient to produce the endurance, lean muscle and speed you are looking for
