feel like crap during and after leg training

I always feel like crap during and after leg training and wondering if I can eat/drink something before/during training to prevent this.

I eat a low GI complex carb and pro meal 2 hours before. I drink pro isolate while training. I take high gi simple carbs and pro straight after. Suits me fine.

I eat 1 hour before I train, so maybe that's the problem. I've tried some whey during training, also detrose and detro+whey during training but that didn't seem to make any difference.

what do you mean mate? do you feel dizzy? sick? painful legs or back? if its the first two i would follow beasts advice, if its the latter two i would have a look at my warm up and down and my form. warm up just with lighter weights but warm down with a good strech!

It's probably not your diet that's off, it's more than likely that you are not in top shape cardiovascular wise. When it comes to leg training if you are not in shape then you will feel dizzy or nauseous because it puts a lot of strain on the heart in terms of how hard it works. I've noticed the better shape I'm in I don't get like that.

i feel like garbage when i train legs sometimes too. i would eat a little earlier. if i eat anywhere near an hour before i feel like i am holding back the chunks after a few hard sets.

I was thinking about that too. I haven't be doing cardio for a long time cause it's soooooo boring. With the good weather coming up and all I might just buy some running shoes !
