why does your pharmacist know your on gear lol
Maybe he's on trt and picks his stuff up there? That or he's a VERY good friend. Just my guesses![]()
maybe you should elaborate on your statement.... i know you meant to say,"related to the flu shot, not that i have heard and im an RN in the 3 busiest ER in the Nation". "does gear weaken the immune system while on cycle?" absolutley, steroids weaken your immune system........i am sure that you were just answering part of his question, right?...... but actually i would agree with your pharmacist to a certain degree here. because juice will effectively lower or weaken your immune system, when you are given a flu shot your body may react slower or less effectively to the virus, thus taking a longer time to produce the antibodies neccesary for the immunity to the certain strain of flu virus injected.

because the unbalanced hormones when estrogen is lowered the immune system drops I believe because estrogen is one part that keeps the immune system in check...correct me if im wrong
actually i think it may have more to do with suppression of t-lymphocytes, or some other kind of white blood cell. i am not really 100% sure on the mechanisms or why they cause this supression but i am pretty sure they do..... i will have to research now.
Please post that research!!
Um... I have actually found that my immune system gets stronger while on cycle.
I've found that using extremely unnecessary huge doses weaken the immune system.
Also AAS such as test, deca, primo seem to strengthen the immune system while on cycle. Too much however will weaken it as I mentioned above.
What does pharmacist or his understanding for roids ?
My understanding is steroids and corticosteroid are completely different.
Corticosteroid is med to cure asthma, rhematoid arthritis and many other diseases. Yes, corticosteroid weaken the immune system, its use is not allowed for ppl with viral infection and yes the flu shot will take longer while on corticosteroids
One study conducted said that it is possible that anabolic steroids might inhibit the immunomodulatory and antiviral activities of androgens like DHEA (acts on adrenal glands to induce the production of corticosteroids and dehydroepiandrosterone) (Hughes, Rady, Smith; 1998). Also, this study further indicated that anabolic steroids significantly inhibited the production of corticotrophin in blood lymphocytes immediately following a viral infection. Simply stated, they can cause the prevention of antibodies when you get sick and lead to altered immune reactions.
this is from a study done at Vanderbilt University. i know i am not explaining it myself but it should show that there may be a little bit of truth to it.
But damaged immune system on AIDS pasiens were being administered with testosterone to cure wasted syndrome.
L - glutamine.
Estrogen has a far greater impact on immune system health and vitality than steroids do. Immune health is multi-faceted, dietary considerations should be the primary concern.
i believe in the TRT section there was a good discussion which basically said that the armidex could lower estrogen levels to the point where the immune system was affected ....you might try a search on that site on "estrogen" or E2 comes to mind....could not do it justice from memory..../i know the net result was i became acutely aware of how much liquidex i used....just an idea m8
